How could anyone not love this speaker? From unboxing to installation with optical cable it took seconds. One step to make it wake with the TV, simple remote, smooth no-gap remote surface, remote control over the fantastic bass (extra bass speaker optional but definitely not needed for us), speech feature is really good and does what it says on the tin, I don’t know how but it just does. If you’ve got the spare cash just splash - no regrets at all.

I just purchased this Bose TV Speaker to replace a failed Pioneer SP-SB23W (Soundbar with Wireless Sub) that I really liked. Very satisfied with the smaller design and performance of this Bose product. It fills my great room (approx. 22' x 25') with beautiful, rich sound. The only minor drawback to the Bose unit (as compared with my previous Pioneer unit), is the inability to train it to respond to my TV Remote for volume adjustment.

Easy to set up and not bulky so looks good because it does not overpower theTV . The sound from the TV is improved because it is coming out of the speaker and not the rear of the TV, the voice clarity does improve when you have it selected but you need to alter the bass settings to your taste . it is easy to set up bluetooth and play music from your phone etc. Although remember that this is not a dedicated music speaker it is a TV speaker and does a good job as that..

Excellent speaker and upgrade over the stock TV speakers. For me though, I bought the Sub as an extra to give a fuller experience. Clarity of speech is brilliant. It is recommended, and it is a good speaker.

so easy to set up and there are adjustments for dialog auto turn on also the base is adjustable I can also connect my phone bluetooth . So to recap what you'd expect from Bose ecellent sound and ease of use thoroughly recomend this product

I have been a fan of Bose so when I saw they had brought out the TV speaker I was hooked. It was soo easy to set up and the sound quality is fantastic. The soundbar has Bluetooth so I can stream music to it. Additionally because it is reasonably priced and soo good I bought a second one from Argos. They transform watching TV.

After reading other reviews I purchased this as it is recommended for people using hearing aids. I can confirm that this is the case, as it is clarity of sound and not volume which is required. Pity they don't include an HDMI cable as it is a quite expensive item.

I was going to spend a little bit more on a sound bar but the higher priced Bose was out of stock everywhere so decided on this one and i'm not disappointed as great sound for the price.

Easy to set up with TV. Very good sound quality, especially the option of selecting speech clarity. Compact with useful wall mounting facility. Bluetooth works well when playing music from my mobile phone.

It's designed for the latest TVs, ie with optical connection, but can be connected to older sets via leads that have to be purchased separately. As the included instructions are minimal, I recommend downloading full details and methods of connection to TV before deciding on purchase,

Easy to set up with optical cable (included). Compact design fits neatly in front of TV. Nice clean lines and shape. The difference in sound quality is more noticeable in some contexts (dramas, music) than others (news programmes).

This is a good speaker as an improvement on a flat screen tv. The sound is clear without the booming base you get with a surround sound system which I didn’t want. At an affordable price from a great brand I’m very pleased with it. An HDMI cable allows control from the tv remote, not included but we had a spare.

Good quality but tv sometimes reverts to its own speakers when tv turned off for the night then turned on again next day - some other reviews I have seen suggest this only happens sometimes with the arc HDMI connection but not the optical one - apart from that would have given it 5 stars rather than 4

Well pleased with this TV speaker. Does dramatically improve the sound quality for general listening. Regarding price, Argos was more expensive that other retail outlets. However, it did arrive the next day where others were not offering such a speedy delivery. My fault for not shopping around to be honest.

Bought this from argos which was the best price and had stock. Easy to set up although I had to but an adaptor to plug in my woofer as it was a different fitment The sound was a lot more defined and clearer which I got used to quickly being a bose . It blended in well with the TV so you don't really notice it. It is also fairly heavy which is a sign of quality components.
