I'm pleasantly surprised, big sound from such a small device. Stereo separation is excellent even though it's small. Bass is very surprising, this can be improved if required with the sub, which is sold separately. It has an option to switch to a speech mode which increases the clarity of voices. It also has Bluetooth, this worked perfectly with no connection issues and is great for some casual music listening. Connectivity is in the form of ARC or Optical, I chose optical as my Sony TV doesn't play nice with anything that isn't Sony. Overall a massive improvement from basic TV speakers and a good sounding dynamic range, as you would expect from Bose. The only downside I have at this price point is there is no display indicating volume levels or mode selection, but this is really only minor. ... More

This has bought my tv sound to life.read the manual, I was a bit disappointed with it to start off with until I read the manual and realised I wasn't using it correctly. It didn't work off the tv remote when I first set it up but I switched the optical cable for an hdmi and one control now operates all tv devices,I think it might sound a bit better for it too.my only small criticism is that it doesn't display a volume number on the tv screen but you know when it's loud enough.I think it would be a bit lost in a large room too but I haven't tried it.small enough to hide on the shelf under the tv on the unit, out of site wich I prefere. ... So I purchased this for my brother-in-law he has just purchased a brand new TV and the sound quality of the TV was terrible. Now this soundbar was cheap and the quality of it was surprisingly good. It added much-needed bass and the audio was clear, for the cost I would highly recommend this product. Also, Bluetooth connectivity is a bonus as you can cast music straight for you phone. I bought this to upgrade my television speakers. For under £40 I can't believe how good it is. It has a very full tonal range however I suspect the bass may not be quite so low if it's positioned on a flimsy table. I have it on a heavy wooden stand above a draw and it sounds amazing. For the price you can't go wrong.

For the price i wasn't expecting the best, but i have to say the soundbar is superb with my bedroom 43 inch samsung, not sure how it would be in a lounge but for what i wanted it for, a bedroom tv its superb, the sound difference to the built in speakers is amazing, very good base very loud, and the option of sound direct to you or in surround, which widens the sound ot, it brings out the background sound as well, its a very solid item and some weight as well, also got the all in one mount brackets to mount to tv on the wall,, all in all cannot fault it,, first hicense item bought, and impressed with it ... Well surprised with this soundbar. It's plenty loud enough for the bedroom. Well built. The bass is good enough again for the bedroom. Connects to the hdmi arc socket, really quick and easy with no fuss or having to go through installation guide. Just plug the supplied hdmi cable in the hdmi arc socket on the TV, plug the other end in the sound bar, turn the TV on, TV auto detects the sound bar, and turns TV speakers off, and puts sound through the sound bar. The only thing to be careful about is, the built-in subwoofer, it's located underneath the unit and is not got any protection grill or that, so you could damage the cone. But it's well worth the money. ... More
