I got this for my ageing parents , it really fills out the sound from the TV , helps with being able to hear actors voices clearly , bass is ok too , not massive but just right , anymore would scare them to death , perfect for enhancing the sound without being OTT .

This is one of the best soundbars I have bought, the base is superb and can be tunes up or down depending on how you like your base, there is also a setting if you wish to hear voice more than the base. Very easy to set up, you can't go wrong with Bose.

I went for Bose in the knowledgecthat the brand is recognised for excellent sound and build quality - however while this was a budget buy the sound was no better than the on board sound board on my Sky Glass TV. It lacked depth and was returned the same day it was purchased.

We wanted a sound bar to improve the sound quality on our TV, without paying £1000, nor keeping our neighbours awake. This is perfect for our requirements. The sound is full and clear, the bass can be boosted and I am constantly aware of the improvement. An old HDMI cable wasn't up to the job of the ARC connection, but a new one was perfect.

This enhances the audio from standard tv very well. Wasn’t looking for fancy 3d audio just a fuller sound. I was a little anxious about some reviews I had read saying that the bass was poor but I found the opposite and dialled it down a little because it a bit too dominant for regular tv viewing. Best feature is the e-ARC HDMI which enables me to control volume using Apple TV remote via my tv. All three devices switched on and off with 1 press.

Bose have done well creating a: well built, small sound bar which sounds good. I have hearing loss and remove my hearing aids when in bed. I bought this to attach to the wall behind my bed so I can hear the television positioned on the opposite side of the room. For some-reason-or-another it doesn't work well with my Bluetooth tv, so I have linked it up via an optical cable. Works great in Dialogue mode too and is relatively cheap for a Bose product. For what it is, I have no complaints.

Purchased for my mom who has a hearing aid but even with subtitles on she was struggling to hear and sometimes the music played during tv shows/films overshadows the voices. We have other Bose products so knew the quality would be great. Exceptionally easy to set up with just 3 wires to plug in,only downside was it doesn’t come with hdmi cable which for the price I would expect it too. I decided I didn't need a full soundbar and bass sub-woofer, and basically wanted better TV speakers for my upmarket Panasonic TV. This Bose unit was just right - good sound and enough bass to keep us happy. And simplicity itself to set up - plugged in the power and the HDMI cable and the TV and the Bose unit did everything else, adjusting the sound settings and worked with the TV and Sky remote controls straight away. Switches off when you switch the TV off, and switches on automatically when the TV comes on. Would recommend

Excellent straightforward sound bar, small enough to fit in front of the TV without looking daft, nothing complicated, works well with the HDMI ARC, well thought out, great sound of the price. Collected it at Argos, 30 minutes after ordering it online, great service.

How could anyone not love this speaker? From unboxing to installation with optical cable it took seconds. One step to make it wake with the TV, simple remote, smooth no-gap remote surface, remote control over the fantastic bass (extra bass speaker optional but definitely not needed for us), speech feature is really good and does what it says on the tin, I don’t know how but it just does. If you’ve got the spare cash just splash - no regrets at all.

Easy to set up and not bulky so looks good because it does not overpower theTV . The sound from the TV is improved because it is coming out of the speaker and not the rear of the TV, the voice clarity does improve when you have it selected but you need to alter the bass settings to your taste . it is easy to set up bluetooth and play music from your phone etc. Although remember that this is not a dedicated music speaker it is a TV speaker and does a good job as that..

Bought for my step father to watch the horse racing. He loves it, and sound quality is just so much better than the tv alone. When you buy Bose, you know you buy quality, so go on, click add to trolley and get it bought !
Perfect for bedroom or smaller space

The primary reason I gave 4 stars is the ease with which dialogue can be enhanced from the remote. Before this, we had to use the menu setting on the tv remote to change the sound program to News even when watching a movie. However, Bose got this little extra right being able to quickly adjust for hearing dialogue on any program. I took off one star because like some other reviewers, we cannot see the remote buttons in the dark and have to use our phone lamp to illuminate it in the dark.

Bought this primarily to listen to music and once set to my liking it sounds fabulous. BUT: the instructions that come with it do little more than tell you how to switch it on. Go to the website and the information you need is there but badly organised. The two lights on the unit flash and change colour according to some mysterious code which the instructions never properly explain. Thankfully when get it set and the tv remote changes the volume you never have to touch it again.

I bought this because I'm fed up with the background music in both films and tv programmes drowning out the dialogue. Lately it's been getting worse, and it's not only me that's noticed. I asked a tv engineer if I could do something with the tv settings, but he advised me to get a sound bar with dialogue mode. This was the only one I found that says dialogue mode on it, it's made a world of difference, I would recommend it to anyone who has had the same problem, the sound now is superb.

Had this a couple of weeks now and I'm happy with it - my LG TV had very poor sound, especially the balance between spoken word and 'action' sequences which constantly had me reaching for the volume control - this unit sorts that pretty well.

This has got to be one of the best sound bar's I've bought, knocks the socks off my higher priced other makes I have and they have base speakers, got this for the bedroom as the other one I have doesn't come up to the grade, this is something else, the clear voice on it makes a huge difference. Very pleased with this speaker.

5* product and service. Bought this as a replacement for my LG sound plate and for its dimensions also. Sits really nice in the space of my stand for my 49 inch curved 4k uhd TV. Have always wanted to buy a Bose soundbar before but they were out of my price range but this was a reasonable price for a quality product. Would definitely recommend.

What a great little sound bar this is very easy to set up,well made and looks nice,its not to big so fits nicely in between the feet of the tv.The sound is superb may not be the most bassest but there's room to add one if you wish.i like the idea that you can have voices enhanced ,overall I'm very impressed, also can be used as a bluetooth speaker turning your phone into a mini hifi unit.
