This is a great camera that produces amazing results. The size, weight and feel of this camera are great. I have enjoyed using my old Sony Nex 7 lenses with this camera as I evaluate and purchase new full frame lenses.

I used the same Sony DSLR for 8 years and a million miles, and I debated buying an a7 for awhile. I found the a7rII at just the right time. Still very up to date but a much easier price than when it debuted. I use her mostly outside, pretty cold lately, and so far so great.

I got this as a companion to my 3 year old A7SII, as this is essentially the same camera but 42 megapixels instead of 12! I primarily am a videographer but often am tasked with taking photos as well, in which these Sony mirrorless are the perfect tools. B and H had a deal where this camera was $1500 with accessories...excellent deal.

I've had this for a week, and I'm still learning how to use a lot of the functions, but it is similar enough the the Rebel that I have that I was able to pick up enough intuitively to start using both the still and video settings to do the work I need it to do.

The service was great as usual, the price better than in other places but I am still trying to understand if this one, shown on the photo (the one I got) is the Alpha 7RII or just the Alpha 7R. The product is awesome in any case.

It is compact, but it is a full frame camera. With adapters, it accepts my Leica and Nikon lenses. The MF Assist function makes manual focusing such an easy task. Lastly, the BSI sensor is definitely better than the old type sensos.

With the on sale price that B&H is selling the camera for, it is quite a camera for the price. I usually shoot Nikon or Fujifilm cameras, but this camera is perfect for my adapted lenses. I'm shooting with old Pentax m42, and Olympus OM lenses, and I am having a blast.

This camera was purchased after a long wait for me, and I have to say it was worth it. Crystal clear images and sharp video even at pretty high ISO. If you're worried about battery life, don't be. Sony offers external charging and a battery grip so battery has never been an issue for me.
