I have wanted to get this camera since it was released, but had to wait while saving my pennies. It did not disappoint. I also have the Sony A7S and wanted this as my daytime camera to get the extra resolution. I am very happy with the camera. Sony has added a lot of nice improvements since the 7S

I am having so much fun with my Sony. I am a beginner, so I enjoy the ease of shooting with it but I am also enjoying learning all of the functions. It will be fun to learn and grow together.

This camera is an excellent companion to the a7ii. The resolution is incredible and the overall performance is exceptional. As a working photographer I need to be able to depend on my gear, and this is a very dependable piece of gear. I do recommend getting a battery grip just for the extra battery life and a little more balance with heavier lenses.

I bought this upon hearing the special deal. I have learned to adapt to it to get 42 megapixel stills. I sold all my stuff and went Sony after getting this body. Plus sensational sensor 42 megapixel. Minus short battery life without the dual battery grip and some overheat issues on long video takes. Love the 42 Megapixels. Bought a A7III for video. Looked at a A7C one slot weak viewfinder nice size. Love both. The A7RII will be my vacation camera with smaller primes.

I am fairly new at photography and this is my first mirrorless camera. I love it! The color, ease of use, size, weight and clarity are amazing. The price was right and on sale, so I snagged it up. Wouldn't change a thing with this product. I use it daily and am so glad I purchased this camera. Thank you to B&H for your great selection, and support on each of your products. I was able to learn and research about this camera and others, before I purchased it through your site. Thanks again!

Bought it upon seeing the promo on three retail outlets. Only B&H delivers to my place. They had a promo which includes a free camera bag and a 128 gb SD card. The camera came installed with the latest firmware which includes uncompressed raw . Coming from A6000, I didn't need a long time to adjust to it's functions. Photos are sharp and with it's 42mp sensor, heavy cropping still delivers a great image. Overall, I am very happy to own this amazing camera..

A great improvement over the A7R! More solid, albeit a bit more heavy, with a more solid lens mount. Sweet and soft shutter sound. No shutter shock. Image quality is outstanding with film-like images. Processed raws using Capture One really show I what some of my Leica R glass is capable of. While I shoot mostly landscapes using a solid tripod, in-body image stabilizer offers the option of image stabilization for my Leica glass.

Very very nice camera that will definitely exceed your expectations. It's true that it could be missing some features like dual memory card, but in my opinion the image quality is professional. The only issue I've had so far is that if you attempt to preview images while the camera is writing from the buffer, it can get stuck and need to restart it (taking out the battery!). I know it's an issue but other than that it's an incredible product!

Others have expressed what this body can accomplish, but now that I have it in my hands I am loving it more each day. Once I got familiar with it's controls and their locations, it allows for relatively easy full control of all variables.

This old camera is still kicking the b..t. The sensor is high quality, great resolution, low noise. The only thing I wish was better is AF, it's somewhat on the slow side and doesn't cover the whole frame. The camera uses the older smaller battery, but there are two included, so I can shoot the whole day. The price is unbelievable.

It is a professional body with good manufactory quality. You will never need to worry about questions like will my camera be able to handle this poor lighting?, will my shaky hand destroy this photo?..just choose the A/S as you desired and press the button. That is it. You will be able to focus on photo shooting instead of worrying too much about the equipments you are using. One CON would be..there are too many options in menu, it's a little bit complicated.

I was happy with my A7!! but it was hard shooting classical music concerts due to shutter noise. The silent shutter mode of this A7Rii is exactly what I needed. This plus the increased resolution made it a fantastic choice.

The camera itself feels robust and very well built, but for me the most important thing is what it can produce and it doesnt disappoint, the uncompressed raw files are amazing, awesome dynamic range, with shadow and highlight recovery capabilities Ive never imagined. Very satisfied with this camera!

Incredible camera. I gave up my Nikon equipment after using this awhile. There will be some downtime learning its menus and capabilities, but well worth it. Wait til you try face recognition!

It's a stills oriented camera that is quite capable . Be aware It's not an action camera , solid dynamic range and great autofocus . Limited eye autofocus is present as well. If you don't absolutely need bleeding edge tech This is more than enough.

This is definetly a camera someone could use for many things. Canon 5D Mark III is what I had before and I would say that is used for different situations. I moved onto this for the video specifications. Definetly if you want to move onto the video industry, I recommend this camera if you have the money for it.

I just received this item last week and I am looking forward to making great use of it in upcoming independent shoe-string budget films I have planned. Living in a small, rural, isolated town this camera's versatility and remarkable low-light capabilities will definitely save me the hassle of purchasing multiple high wattage light kits and power generators to film here after sun down.
