Used slightly but tried it on both xa20 and d800. Xa20 performed great through xlr. On the 800 is good but not spectacular. Still highly recommend

I love the mic. Love it. But, if you're going to include a mount, at least make one that will last longer than 2 hours. If you order this mic, make sure you have your own mount as well.

Its a Sennheiser microphone. Its a great shotgun mike that is perfect for what I do. The price is worth every penny if you want a decent quality shot gun mike without spending $800 - $1000.

Works well. High volume level without much noise but could still be a little louder. Isolation works well so surrounding sounds aren't picked up only the target.

I'm using this for room sound, some talking... its not really meant for high quality recording, its OK if its really close to the source...it is what is, but in my case that's fine.
