This is a great shotgun microphone. The sound quality is amazing, and it's not bass heavy at all like previous mics i've used in the past. Yes, it's a bit pricey but it's definitely worth every red cent for independent filmmakers.

This is a great kit if you're looking for an afforrdable starter mic kit. The microphone is great for interviews and direct sounds. If you add a good audio recorder you are set fro great sound in your indie productions.

I love this mic! I have used it multiple times at work for on-the-run shooting and it has been great. The other day I decided to use it for a livestream and it still worked just fine. So long as you have an audio interface, you're good. I'm very happy with my purchase!

I gave this little guy a 5 star because of what it is for the price. It by no means can compete with my 416 or other shorts costing 3 times as much but for the money it is a very nice unit. If you're on a budget this one is a must.

Great budget shotgun microphone. If you don't have the budget for one of its more expensive brothers, this is a wonderful option. I use it for corporate interviews and have been very pleased so far.

This mic feels premium and I definitely love the directions of sounds that it perceives. Muffled from the back, sides are low and focuses on the action ahead. Definitely recommend.

This mic gets me great audio quality when plugged in a Zoom H1 through the KA 600 adapter. Very low noise floor, great sounding audio. The shock mount that comes with it is not the best.

Good mic but picks up a little more mid range than I'd like it too. I wish it would pick up a little more of the low range than it does.
