I'm using this for room sound, some talking... its not really meant for high quality recording, its OK if its really close to the source...it is what is, but in my case that's fine.

I upgraded from an Audio Technica mic I have had for a few years. While the AT was good this Sennheiser is better and makes life a little easier because I can run the mic off a battery.
