You get what you pay for here. I've used MKE 600 mics for the last 4 years and have loved the quality. Battery live is exceptional. You're not getting top of the line Sennheiser quality, but for the price, they are hard to beat.

The quality of this mic is so amazing it does not even need a windscreen. Crisp, clear, yet bassier if you need it, sturdy - i was shocked at how many of my other mics it out performed.

This is a powerful high quality mic. We use it for filming scenes in a wide variety of locations and situations. This is my 2nd time purchasing this item for two different churches; it's a product I've come to trust.

I sold my NTG2 for this and I can tell a difference... seems to be cleaner with a slightly longer reach. No complaints, especially for the excellent price.

This is the second one I own, I love it. Works just like it should, knocking down sound from the sides and rear while picking up everything where it's aimed at.

I love this mic! I have used it multiple times at work for on-the-run shooting and it has been great. The other day I decided to use it for a livestream and it still worked just fine. So long as you have an audio interface, you're good. I'm very happy with my purchase!

Have been a lifelong fan of Sennheiser mics and headphones. This is my first shotgun mic and it's great. Primary use is mounted on a Canon XA-50 for run & gun video. Looking forward to using on a boom pole. Sound is exceptional!

The MKE 600 Shotgun microphone is an excellent choice for high-quality audio for video productions. I've used this in noisy environments on location shoots and was very pleased with the results. The extremely long battery life and durable metal body make it a solid choice in-studio and on-location.

The MKE 600 - Shotgun Microphone is amazing and fits well with the compact size of my Canon XA30. I shoot a lot of black box theater performances and this mic gives me the quality I need without overwhelming the limited physical space I am often given to work in. Highly recommended.

A great mic, best in it's price range. I use it together with a Zoom H4n and it som ambient noise because you have to crank up to rec volume on the H4n, but the mic it self is an amazing mic. Clear and crisp sound

I purchased this product to get better sound for the short films I'm working on. It gets pretty professional sound if you know what you're doing. I'm use to working with them. It definitely works great.

I have only used it on a few gigs but mic is extremely responsive and great for ambient as well as on the boom pole. A friend of mine researched the best mic for me and came up with this option. I am a wedding videographer and I really like the compact design and great German design. Alles Gut!!

I've worked with the MKE 600 alot for all kind of production. From a studio boom mic to on location production, the sound that this mic picks up is clear and isolated and i'd rather use it on any laviar mic to pick up dialouge sound.

Extremely happy with this mic. It's definitely a great value. Works extremely well for capturing dialog and rejecting other noise from the side. Seems to provide a very good signal to noise ratio. I don't nearly as often need to use noise reduction in post.

This is a great shotgun microphone. The sound quality is amazing, and it's not bass heavy at all like previous mics i've used in the past. Yes, it's a bit pricey but it's definitely worth every red cent for independent filmmakers.

The MKE 600 has low noise and requires little gain. You can't go wrong with this one if on a low budget.
