It was plug-n-play with my Macbook Pro via a USB-C cable. Ran the outputs to my SWR bass amp head. Plugged in and it worked with Garageband and Logic Pro X seamlessly - very cool with the added tones included with Logic Pro X. Guitar was even better with the additional tones. It has been great for recording and for practice and has replaced my ancient Bass Pod circa 2000!

This little box does a lot for the great price. We were having some sound issues with the system at our church that was negatively impacting our live stream. This box came to the rescue and now our sound is clear and easy to control. It works especially well with our MacBook Pro which is an added bonus!!!

After looking and reading numerous reviews and talking with audio engineers, one kept coming up and that was the Focusrite 2i2 (3rd generation). It is easy to hook up and use. I'm using it to livestream my church worship services. The Focusrite 2i2 has made a huge difference in the sound quality of our livestream. It is well made and worth every penny!

I use this to record my demos at home. It integrated with my laptop seamlessly. I would give it a five star rating based on the unit itself, but with the free software it comes with, it far surpasses most other products in overall value. Its versatility is easily on par with other pricey units. I'm very happy with my purchase!

I used the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 with my I-Mac, in a 5 way link with 3 other voiceover actors and a recording studio. All the actors worked from their private studios in the Los Angeles area and the recording studio was in Colorado for the longest running radio drama in history Adventures in Odyssey (35 years on the air) We used the ipDTL system for the interconnection. All went without a hitch

Purchased this for a second video production studio that is smaller than my main studio (in different cities). Focusrite has quality products so I was certain that the 2i2 would be perfect for voice over and sound recording sessions for video projects.

This interface is a staple among musicians, and it acts like it. No frills, straight and to the point, and does everything it's designed to do fantastically. What more can you ask?

There are a lot of USB interfaces out there and only one Focusrite Scarlett, I like that the XLR plugs are on the front of the unit and not on the rear which means less fumbling for things. Thanks for a great USB interface.

You can feel the quality of this interface as soon as you take it out of the box. Solid metal framing and sturdy knobs. Works great. Big fan of the "air" function for podcasting, adds a professional tone

Clean, clear mic input. Adequate sound card for playback through monitors. I say adequate rather than excellent because it seems a bit bass-heavy. I don't know if that's the sound card or the monitors which also are new.

I havent experience the crackling of the Solo I had before but I dont use the headphone out much. Ill update if it shows up. I would have liked it to have the option for wall power but not much of an issue so far. Using mainly to send a balanced signal out to a set of 305p speakers and 310s sub.

This small sound card is a beast in terms of quality. 24 bits, 192 kHz, pristine sound conversion, robust, easy to operate, no hassle for connection, stable. All superlatives are good for this little device.

Classic Focusrite. Solid product. One issue with monitoring, only works with TRS jacks. DOES NOT WORK WITH TRRS PROPERLY. Overall, it's an audio interface that does the job well and to a high standard.
