Not expecting much more than an entry level interface out of this. There's a reason why many consider the 2i2 to be the best value starter interface around. Focusrite has online tutorials that are helpful. It's been super easy to use so far with Audacity - pretty much plug and play. Now on to Ableton...

Very good sound quality for this price, better than my old tc electronic soundcard, and powerful plugins included.

I have the 2nd Gen 2i2 and it worked well for me. The Focusrite team also helps resolve any issues you may have to the best of their ability.

I needed a 2i2 to use away from my office to replace the original version I've had for years. I never had a problem with the original and expect not discernible difference. I was surprised to find the audio even better. Furthermore, the box is nicer looking and the controls feel more robust. Love this thing!

I used the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 with my I-Mac, in a 5 way link with 3 other voiceover actors and a recording studio. All the actors worked from their private studios in the Los Angeles area and the recording studio was in Colorado for the longest running radio drama in history Adventures in Odyssey (35 years on the air) We used the ipDTL system for the interconnection. All went without a hitch

I use this with Traktor Kontrol s4, Traktor pro 3, and OBS for streaming purposes and it's an absolute breeze. The thing is super simple to set up, great audio quality, super solid build quality, knobs have just a great feel to them with the perfect amount of resistance. Definitely recommend focusrite to anyone looking for an interface.

Easy set-up and all the right functionality in place for a small footprint. Phantom power check. Preamps check. Ability to take XLR or 1/4 in check. Headphone Jack check 2 ins, and 2 outs. Bought it to participate in online jamming and the Focusrite with a wired ethernet connection give some of the lowest latency online

I use this to record my demos at home. It integrated with my laptop seamlessly. I would give it a five star rating based on the unit itself, but with the free software it comes with, it far surpasses most other products in overall value. Its versatility is easily on par with other pricey units. I'm very happy with my purchase!

After initial difficulties setting everything up and getting it running (there are minimal directions for the mic stand) I am very pleased with how everything works. The headphones are a bit uncomfortable as I am used to a higher quality, but works in the literal sense. Overall, for the price, it was well worth it as a bundle.

Great interface to connect with other musicians during online jamming sessions. Allows social distancing during pandemic. I like these features: individual halo for each input to monitor clipping, "air" switch adds presence to acoustic guitar and individual headphone volume knob. Bought this interface to upgrade from another unit and I'm glad I did.

Super easy to set up and glad I went with the Focusrite instead of a sound card. I had some buzzing from my monitor speakers on my old computer (which had an m-audio sound card installed) and that went away. I highly recommend this for better sounding audio. I mix and produce music on my pc and ocassionally record audio, and I love the simplicity of this interface. Works great and sounds amazing!

I bought this for playback. The fact that I can record too is a bonus. Paired with some nice small studio monitors, this is a desktop audio system that is IMO equal to audiophile stuff costing double or more.

Served as a perfect interface between mixer and computer for a musical performance on Zoom. Excellent sound, reliability, and control and highly user-friendly. Can be used in many applications including home recording. Great value for money. Also, it comes with phantom power, compatible with the best condenser mics.

I got my mobile studio kit from b&h, delivery was super fast, I know this equipment is not the top of the line, but for my needs it's perfect! Very easy to install [MacBook pro] when u installing, the website shows u step by step so u must be really really special person to not get it! I am not a professional recorder or engineer I just do that for the hobbie, and for that I got my money worth!

I was using an old FireWire interface that was delicate and moody. When I purchased my Scarlett, I expected the same thiing and that is that all interfaces were fragile. To my pleasant surprise, the installation was quick, easy, the unit was tough and as I read the instructions, it's also portable! If you need a reliable interface Scarlett is for you.

This USB interface (latest generation) is working well in my home studio set up to do video production, screen recording, and online teaching using Zoom and other video conferencing tools. I use a variety of mics and so far this works well with all types and the device has been recognized by all my apps. Excellent. Would highly recommend.

You do need to download the software, but once that is done, you are off to the races. I really appreciate the instructional videos they provide. Nice touch of professionalism. Lot's of others have said how good the box sounds and I like to say I can't hear the box and I think that's how it should be. I needed the line level input and kudos for you having that in this box. Fantastic all around.

Using it with Mackie speakers and Audio Technica headphones. It is compact, was easy to plug in and appears to be well-built. I have not used it yet with a microphone or guitar. Not really a deal breaker, but there's no MIDI I/O...i believe you'd have to bump up to the i4/i6 or whatever to get the MIDI I/O.

It was plug-n-play with my Macbook Pro via a USB-C cable. Ran the outputs to my SWR bass amp head. Plugged in and it worked with Garageband and Logic Pro X seamlessly - very cool with the added tones included with Logic Pro X. Guitar was even better with the additional tones. It has been great for recording and for practice and has replaced my ancient Bass Pod circa 2000!
