Its a good interface but it breaks incredibly easily. Its a complete waste because in 1 or 2 months you will need a new interface don't waste your money.

The scarlett 2i2 is solidly built and nice looking, the preamps sounds great and the independant headphone and monitors knobs are a great feature. I returned this product due to the latency issues with pro tools 9.

If focusrite wanted to step it up 2i2 from the single input 2x2? they should have passed midi to share the headphones output. What were they thinking this is an audio device. simply output the midi along with the rest of the ASIO tracks drivers whatever.. . But no they couldn't do that . I don't mean a hardware input output but just simply let the midi play along with the audio tracks from any DAW. That's simple but they are too greedy to make something that is worth the extra 50 bucks. This unit is useless. Don't waste your money. This is total junk garbage period. ... More
