It's better than the speaker on the TV but not as good as I expected it to be. There is an annoying hissing/whooshing noise in the background during quiet moments on some TV programmes which is especially bad when watching the snooker.

I purchased this as my smart tv got distorted when I turned it up. With Bose speaker it sounds SO much better, gives more depth and bass plus it’s easy to set up. It’s on all the time. I would definitely recommend this product.

I’m hard of hearing and often have the tv to loud however with this speaker the sound quality is so good I can even hear what’s being said on low volume. I would recommend this product

Better than I expected for its size. Got it for our bedroom so we could have the volume relatively low but still hear the voices and it does that very well. It also goes quite loud for its size and stays clear with no distortion. It also works great for music too.

Yup its good on an "oldish" LG tv replaced a soundbase.. . Its better and with the "speach enhancement" on I can hear dialogue....

I bought this speaker mainly because it said it would enhance the dialogue when watching films. Neither my wife or I are able to notice any appreciable difference in this regard although the sound quality in general is very good. I would have returned the speaker but to try it I had to open the package. This meant that, in line with returns policy, it couldn’t be taken back. thus nullifying

Amazing sound for a speaker of this price and size. May not have Dolby Atmos or other modern sound modes however does the job. Plenty of bass and clear quality sound. Extremely happy with purchase
