I'm very pleased with this microphone. It works quite well with my Sony camcorder. There is no adjustment for output--only an on-off switch and a high-low response switch.

i use the microphone for making amateur videos and it has definitely improved the audio in my movies. I would definitely recommend it for anyone who wants to to find a cheap microphone and yet also wants good quality.

I needed a microphone for my HV30 since the built-in was nothing but a noise collector. Quality is good; well balanced when mounted in the hot shoe. Just wish it had an illuminated on-off switch.

Camcorder microphones are always prone to picking up some motor noise in many situations and the sound quality leaves something to be desired. This external microphone elimates these issues. I couldn't be more pleased and the price was very affordable.

This microphone is great at it's price of $. if it was $100 it would be just a okay microphone.However... you need to make it a habit of remembering to check if your microphone is off.. with no light to indicate if its on or off.

I've only used it a few times, but it works well for me, much better sound than the t2i's build in mono mic. Have not found any issues so far.

Definitely noticed a positive difference from the in-camera microphone. It's okay if you're not too far away but it definitely provides a good amount of quality for the price.

For the price I cannot complain. I do not have a mixer or amp so I am not realizing the highest potential available. While, there are much better mics out there, they have a price tag to match. That said, in samples, this performed nearly as good as the more expensive Rode VideoMic to my novice ear.
