Hooked up the mic to my Canon Vixia. Had a new battery inside the mic. The mic failed to work during most parts of my wedding. The mic worked briefly in the beginning, then didn't work for most of the wedding, including the vows and speeches. I am in the process of finding out how Azden handles this kind of product failure.

The ad led me to believe that this unit would fit my Canon HG20 video camera. It does not. It has a cold shoe and no adapter for the hot shoe on the camera. Bad choice for me.

I bought the mic for my Canon Vixia HF200, the mic holder did not fit on my camera shoe, and the mic only gave me like a 2-5% difference in sound, and had a small back ground buzz. I was not really happy with this product
