I use this mic ontop of a little palm held camera. The sound is pretty good for what you pay for it but it does beat the sound from the built in mic on the camera.

I'm using this as an on camera mic for reference audio for video. It's obviously much better than the built-in mics on the camera, and overall captures pretty good sound. It does tend to hiss a bit.

I got this to get directional stereo audio from my DSLR. It does not pick-up camera handling sounds and has decent stereo separation. Its small size is appropriate to my D-4.

I ordered this microphone for use on a miniDV camera and it picks up so many differences in sound that the tapes do not run smoothly through my editor. I will probably use this for specialty recording to digital recorders.
