This mic works just as good as its competitors in the $ price range! It has superb noise canceling ability while providing rich audio. I would suggest this mic for video production specialists everywhere! B &H always delivers a quality product in a timely manner.

I have only had the chance to minimally test this bad boy with my Canon hv40. I attached it using a simple 1/8 inch to xlr adapter. Using my nice headphones and recording in my car the mic sounds great. Sounds nice and crisp and clear. Not too bassy not to tinny. I have not had the chance to use it on an actual project yet though or outside. I'm happy with it so far.

This microphone is inexpensive, versatile and captures great sound. I purchased this mic to start working on my first full length feature film and I am very happy with the purchase.

Myself and production partner are taking the steps from students to running our own production company and trying to break away from using college equipment. This mike is great value and performs really well. Especially like to the fan sound from my ceiling fan, completely apocalypse now.

I am using this Mic with a Canon XHA1s and a Zoom H4n, great little Mic for the money.. One thing that would be better is if the Mic Holder attached to a standard Mic Stand,,, the holes provided are much smaller.

Pleased with the quality here for the cost. I use on my FS7 and while its a bit bulky it gets great quality sound, especially at this price point.

This mic is definitely a huge step up from any on board mic. It's working out well for me. I have used more expensive mics and appreciate their higher quality, but for the price this is a great starter mic.

I got this for Chrismas and have been very happy with it. I will say it's not the best out there but it's still the best in the price range IMO My only complaint is the threaded holes made for a mic stand won't work with standard stands. I simply clip mine on with a standard clip style clamp.

For the money this is a basic, slightly-tinny, yet effective shotgun. There is one part of the rig that is plastic. Guess which part breaks? Yep, the shock mount is trash. Anyone know of a higher quality aftermarket that will last longer than one year?

Good, clear sound, nice and directional. Certainly a very good microphone for the price, as many others seem to have concluded as well. Included wind screen is effective. Only complaint is that the shock mount that comes with the microphone can't be adjusted to point at a different angle.

we shoot on camera dialogue, and corporate interviews. this mic has been very good. yes it is a shotgun, but the closer you can position it, (3 0r 4 feet...) the better the sound quality.

Works well and sounds great. My only complaint is that the included shock mount does not have a means of mounting to a US standard 5/8 mic stand.

I think its great! i have to use it with a tascam dr-40 and sync it up in premiere. it is great. iuse it on a boom pole and on a dslr. i am a dslr shooter.

I bought it to use with my new Canon T2i, and it works just fine. There are 2 attachments, windscreen, and zip up case included. It's a very decent mic for a terrific price.
