Excellent Desktop Computer
I am a photographer with Canon equipment and use Photoshop. The new 27 iMac 2017 has an amazing display and loads Photoshop in just a few seconds. This is the fourth iMac I have owned and would never consider using any other brand of computer. I buy all my cameras and lenses along with iMacs from B&H Photo and have always had a perfect experience!

Beautiful machine
Not really a huge fan of Apple as they used to be the computer for the rest of us and now I think their business practices and ethics leave a lot to be desired, but this machine a beautiful, fast, productive, and a decent value.

Best computer I've ever used
I was looking for a powerful iMac that I could use for some years and I had my eye set on the 27 iMac because it was 5K. I came to B&H because they usually have very interesting discounts and I was able to save some money. I updated the processor and installed 32GB of RAM, this computer is a true BEAST. Totally recommended to anyone looking for a powerful machine to run simulations, play games or any other high demand use.

I would buy this again
This is a great price. If you can afford it get it! I haven't had the TV on since it arrived. Its going to be a while before I learn everything. Being retired I figure by spring I'll be good with it. Might even learn something new about my iPhone and iPad.

Happy about my purchase
I am impressed with my new MAC. It's my first so I'm like a kid with a new Christmas toy. I've wanted one for years and finally saved enough to get on to supplement (for now) my ten year old Windows PC. I think I'll be ditching the PC soon.

A honest price for this product
The price is good. However, as most people already know, it is not a computer for heavy work. So treat it as an office desktop for email etc.

Very Pleased
I was previously using a top of the line 2013 mbp to edit videos. I was tempted to wait for the iMac Pro, but decided that a lot more work could be done between now and whenever the iMac Pro would actually ship so I got this 2017 27 4.2ghz i7 iMac. Beautiful and powerful
I'm using the iMac for UHD editing, amateur, FCPX. Upgraded to 500G SSD drive and 40G RAM. It's a beast.

Best iMAC so far
I received the 2017 iMac 5k + the Apple Care, about a week ago and I love it. Bought the 4.2 GHZ with the 1TB SSD. Decided to buy my own memory rather then have it preinstalled saved like almost $900. I thought of buying it from Apple but they charge Tax, so B&H was the best option. I called them and they set up with no problem. I have been buying from B&H for long time and I think they are the best, so efficient everything went smooth. Thanks B&H customer for life.

Bottom Line: - iMac is a solid product. By one today! ... but I'm not here to give a review on the iMac. I'm here to leave a review about B&H. This was my first order with B&H. I couldn't be any happier. I will definitely shop with them again.

Holy Cow!!!
Second iMac. This computer is unbelievably fast, and there are no constant pinwheels, which require rebooting to fix. I purchased the 3.8 iMac with 2t HD and 8 gigs of ram. I was going to add ram but I don't think I need to. Photoshop and Bridge Creative Cloud work very well and start much faster than before. I am impressed, this is what my FIRST iMac should have been. The upgrade in computers was amazingly easy and quite quick, thanks to Apple's Migration App.

Best desktop I've ever seen
i7 processor with 40GB memory and 1TB SSD...system is amazingly fast and incredibly stable running Mac OS, VM Ware Fusion and Windows 10 all simultaneously. The bright retina display is by far the best display I've used and I've been using computers since the first PCs in 1982. I would recommend this system to anyone.

Slow?
The display is fantastic but I find the system slow compared to my previous Mac Mini with a 1.12TB Fusion drive. Apple reduced the size of the sad, and maybe that is what the problem is. Overall I do not regret purchasing this but I must confess to being just a little disappointed.

Fast and stunning IMac
My older IMac was a mid 2011 and since then the computer is faster (much faster) and the screen has thousands more pixels in millions of more colors. Love the 5K for my photography. Monitor is narrower, but there's no optical CD/DVD drive. So if you're listening to CD of music (yes, almost as old fashioned as 78 and 45 records!), you have to buy an extra CD/DVD reader/writer. Fast, but hard to connect
Very fast and easy to set up. Absolutely gorgeous display. Only problem is having connections essentially restricted to USB and Thunderbolt 3. Cannot connect to older devices, such as firewire or other monitors without complex, special adaptors or buying expensive hubs, which haven't been released yet. Bleeding edge of connection technologies. In a year, it will be great.
