I couldn't be happier
After being a PC guy for over 30 years, I am now a full Mac guy. I have had iPhones, iPads, Apple Watch and bought a MacBook a couple years ago; but have always used a Windows machine as my main computer. With the great Black Friday deal, I finally decided to get an iMac. This is such a wonderful piece of hardware that performs so nicely. Everything synchs up so nicely with my iPhone and MacBook, which made the switch even easier. I did upgrade memory though a third party reseller, which couldn't have been easier. I truly love my iMac and couldn't be happier with it.

Great product
I was a little worried shipping a computer 3000 miles but it arrived safe and sound. And I didnt have to pay tax on it because I purchased it out of California so the money I used instead of tax I paid for the extended warranty. I would buy from them again no question.

Very good
I use it mainly for photography and Trello. Photoshop and Lightroom CC works well with this, and Trello boards are way more visual than on a smaller screen. Working with this is more fun than with a regular laptop.

imac 27 meets or exceeds expectations
I've got the lower spec package so I've added a 1TB SSD external drive. Excellent screen and speed of processing (especially important for Photoshop). If I do more video, especially 4K, I might upgrade the RAM to at least 24GB.

The greatest
I had an iMac 21.5" for years and because of my eyes I wanted a new retina screen and the 27" was just the icing on the cake. It is the GREATEST.

Exactly what you expect! Excellent product, excellent vendor
I love the predictability and right-out-of-box usability of this computer. I owned a 2010 27" iMac that is still running perfectly well, but my husband and I wanted an update. The stunning screen almost hurts my eyes it's so crisp. The computer arrived earlier than expected (thank you B&H), packaged beautifully with the mouse already charged and ready to go! Way to go Apple! I plugged in and followed the simple instructions to transfer all my old data and was up and running without a hitch.

Excellent Computer, But Unacceptable Mouse and Keyboard
Excellent Computer, But I much prefer the discontinued Apple USB-cable-connected Aluminum Keyboard and Mighty Mouse (which I additionally purchased as replacements) to the computer-included Blue-Tooth Magic Mouse and Keyboard. Wireless is no benefit for me (wires are reliable and not bothersome), and requires charging and charge-monitoring / management. This iMac changes everything
I just upgraded from a 13" macbook pro to a 27"iMac. Wow, what a difference. It is superfast, super easy to work with...and it is beautiful. It was so easy to transfer my data from the old laptop, so I have the same information, only better. These days it is so easy to get my outside of the office with a ipad, I appreciate the power of this machine when I am in my office.

Finally bought it, used it (for a week) & loving it.

Excellent for light activities and higher loads alike
Excellent display brightness with modest anti-glare. Runs clean and silent. I recommend considering a Magic Trackpad 2, especially if you have long time familiarity with MacBook gestures and ease-of-use. Recommend i5 CPU & 256GB SSD with 8GB RAM, since you have USB 3.1 10gbps for adding high speed storage in the future. Can always add 8GB in the future.

Nice... but even better!
Never have I owned a Mac before now (simply due to price) but I could not be more pleased. Windows 10 was the worst PC experience as far as computers go; though there were a couple of disappointments prior. The resolution is incredible for photography work. My Canon 5DS R has a much higher resolution at 50+ megapixels, but the 27" 5K is incredible. Never going back to a PC. Fantastic purchase! I couldn't have been more pleased...

The 2017 iMac is a great update to the line. The 2 TByte fusion drive with 128 GByte SSD is especially nice if you don't want to spend the extra dollars on a full SSD. It provides quick program start up and photo editing for enthusiasts-- video editors would probably want to consider the full SSD option. Initially, I planned to build my own computer for video editing, however when I priced everything out, nothing came close to this machine with my preferred specs (and a 5K monitor). I have been in the Mac 'ecosystem' for a number of years now and am so happy I decided to stay with the OS for dedicated programs like FCPX & Logic Pro. Fabulous computer. I was using my 2009 21.5" one which still works and it was time for a speed plus overall performance upgrade. This model is fine for what I need and the price was a bargain. Get AppleCare ($160.00 for 3 total years coverage and online / phone help.) It is a great help if you get stuck on anything from hardware hook ups to software help.

This was my first iMac purchase ever and after extensive research decided that B&H was the greatest deal available. I don't know if it was because of the holidays (cyber Monday Deal) but $150 off the original price, plus free shipping and no tax for a brand new model just can't be beat! I was worried that having an expensive electronics being shipped across the country was dangerous, but my product was delivered on time and in excellent condition. I have been more than happy with my purchase and will recommending B&H in the future!

powerful iMac
This iMac is faster than my 6 core power mac "trash can" that I bought late 2013. I do wish Apple had an adjusting stand.. but the speed and brightness of this computer is pretty great. I use it for heavy 4k projects and audio projects and so far it cruises along nicely.

buy if you need it
It is fast machine but .... - no way to upgrade internal HDD and external thunderbolt 3 enclosure keep disconnecting; - I wish it would come without new Apple keyboard and mouse, new full size arrow keys mess up with my muscle memory so I keep stock of previous keyboards with half sized keys; - I use trackpad and mouse is useless for me, so those just apple tax;

Awesome upgrade
This is a replacement for a '09 Mac Pro w/LED monitor. Very happy with the upgrade. The screen is soooooooo bright and the speed/performance boost is very welcome. Long time Apple guy, so no surprise on the review.

I love this machine! Fast!
I can run Windows and OSX at the same time and both boot up fast. 1TB SSD is a big plus. I restored 800GB from a Time Machine backup in less than 2 hours and most applications work fine. Only had to do 2 software keys so far. I was up and running in no time and everything I had before in the old machine is there. Works great!

Really quick editing computer with FCPX.
Extremely fast editing computer with FCPX, very happy with Resolve performance but a little less impressive with Adobe. I feel like this is the model to get for video on a normal budget... the fusion drive opens apps instantly and all our media is on fast external RAIDS so no need for the more expensive SSD models.
