Apple 27' iMac w/Retina 5K Display
This is my third Mac after one desktop and MacBook. I'll be using it primarily for photo editing and music production. There are some new things in the software to adjust to but it's nearly a seamless transition from older to new. The wireless keyboard and mouse are nice and eliminates some cable clutter. Only a few weeks in but to date I'm really pleased with this purchase.

Great price for a great computer
The thing I like about Mac's is that they just WORK. No driver issues, no worrying about antivirus garbage, and no sudden unexplainable errors that just happen that require a techie guy/gal to come and fix. They JUST WORK :). This one is no exception. Powerful graphics (yes, I game on it), and a great processor with an AWESOME 5k display make this a bargain powerhouse computer for just about anyone.

Another amazing iMac
This is my first new Mac purchase in many years and Apple didn't let me down... except for the amount of RAM included. I mean, $2,300 and I couldn't even get 16GB, oh well....

Fantastic!
My first iMac but not my first apple product. I have to say that the computer is great. I use it for video editing and photo editing and I couldnt be happier. One thing I would HIGHLY recommend is that if you were to buy one of these with 8GB of ram, wait for it to turn up and then order more RAM for it. My new computer is gorgeous. It's the same height as my 24 inch, so it fits perfect when slide under the credenza. The width is about 6 inches more, and it's much thinner. The picture quality is bright and the sound quality is good. The product was delivered on time, and the packaging was in excellent condition.

Worth every discounted cent.
I'm a software developer who wanted to upgrade from my 2013 mbpr but couldn't justify the cost of the imac pro. This purchase meets my needs so well it doesn't even feel like a compromise.

Gorgeous Power
The screen is a work of art in itself. Just beautiful color, brightness and resolution. But the brains behind the beauty are just as amazing. I can't bog this machine down! It just seamlessly handles whatever I've thrown at it. After the initial setup and updating it, it's been rock solid stable as well, and hasn't had to restarted since. More than I probably should have spent at the time, but I've no regrets at all.

The Best.
With only 8gb ram the system was not running optimally. I ordered two more 4gb ram for a total of 16gb and the machine runs fast and smooth. Many people buy the Mac with 8gb ram and upgrade so its relatively easy to find those original Mac 4gbX2 sticks on ebay for cheap and will match up perfectly with the4gbX2 it comes with since it has 4 slots for ram. 16gb ram works perfect though you can have up to 64gb.

They sacrificed performance for its design.
Nice Design, but it is too slim. It sacrificed performance for its slim, sophisticated, modern design. When it does very intensive work which consumes high CPU power, it sometimes experiences freezing; then you have to force shut-down. One of the solution is to install 'Macs Fan Control' app and increase fan speed.

Over Hill and Dell to the Apple Tree
OK, backstory... I've been using a late 2008 iMac that I purchased new. It was a great machine for the time and still in use for minor tasks. For 6 years I have been working on a Dell Optiplex 990, 3.4 GHz machine with 24 GB of RAM for my daily driver at the office. Apple build quality and reliability
I purchased this 2017 iMac to replace a 2010 27" iMac that served me very well. This new version is well worth the upgrade as the 5K display has amazing clarity, and in addition I chose the 512 GB SSD. So much faster to boot and navigate than the 2010 model. I added another 16 GB of RAM at the time I received the computer (Crucial from B&H). Very pleased with this purchase and am sure it will be completely reliable for many years to come.

Great service, love the computer so far
The computer arrived as soon as promised. I have had the computer about two weeks so far and am really happy with it. The 5K resolution is incredible. So far, the performance works well for video editing.

Bought this unit after returning a mac pro trashcan model that was very disappointing due to video card malfunction. No issues at all with this model, works very well, ram is easy to install. Would recommend buying a thunderboldt 2 to 3 adapter as very few items support thunderboldt 3 currently.

Work, play, and repeat. It is the same hit song but it is a good song. i7, RX 580, and SSD is not an iMac Pro but it will get you close for most things you do.

Love the new iMac
Except that I have to find a workaround for the lack of a CD/DVD drive, I love the purchase. Also, it seems Apple has 'eased' the overheating problem present in older versions. Time will tell whether it has resolved the problem completely. Beautiful display and very fast. Thank you.

I purchased this computer for video editing and it has surpassed my expectations. I plan on upgrading the RAM from 8GB to 64GB to fully utilize its power.

I upgraded my 2012 iMac to the 2017 version and LOVE it! the 5k monitor is fantastic. I recommend getting the SSD, and adding some aftermarket ram. You should get this!

Large Display with Plenty of Power
I was reluctant to purchase a 27" iMac due to the size. I already have a 21.5" iMac that is 5 years old and it seems to be slowing down with only 8GB of memory. Trinity
I started with an iPad a few years ago and 3 months ago got rid of my android phone for a new iPhone 8+. So when my PC was to be replaced this month I did the only logical thing, I bought an iMac. The trinity is now complete and I couldn't be happier. Although the operating system is different then the PC the logic of it is light years ahead. It is seamless in operation, powerful, easy to navigate, and extremely well constructed. I highly recommend this product and B&H.
