Great, solid mixer with good, clean pre-amps on the mic channels. Like some other reviewers have mentioned, this unit does get pretty hot during use, but it hasn't gotten to the point where it concerns me. I mostly use mine to boost signals into my Focusrite 2i2 interface, but I'm sure it'd do well in a live setting. Haven't tried the onboard effects yet. Nice to know they're there, as I've helped run DIY concerts where the band asked for "echo" or reverb, but I won't be heartbroken if I find out they aren't the best quality.

This little mixer was quiet and efficient with nice tone control. What I liked about it over others similar is the ability to modify the effects some so you're not stuck with a stock effect with no variance. (Compared with the Beringer for example) Also, one of my older smaller Beringer units was noisy. It has a small footprint so for small gigs this is perfect.

I bought this because I wanted a small mixer with more than 6 channels (& effects). I didn't want to be bothered with a separate effects unit. EQ on each channel was also important. This covers all the bases. I usually perform solo & only use a few channels, but it's nice to have a few more when they're needed. I gigged with it once so far. Perfect. Good sound & the compact size is a plus. Highly recommended.

Needed a small mixer with FX and this fills the bill. Very quiet with a very low floor noise. Outputs better sound for my acoustic guitars than my acoustic amps. Tried vocals with Shure Beta 58, Audix OM-6, Behringer XM8500, Phonic UM99, and Gear One MV1000 mics and all sounded extremely clear. The FX are pretty good with plenty of control over them. It does everything I expected and does it well. Note: I haven't used the recording capability so I have no comment on that section.

The mixer is very good with lots of features like Gain, Compression, EQ etc. onboard. Perfect for a small to medium gathering with 4-5 vocals, instruments, feed from phone and live streaming on internet. Love it!!! 24 FX modes are available, tried 1-2 of them. If you don't need the FX you can buy model MG10 for $40 less price.

I used this mixer to submix mics on different speakers/amps to provide a single balanced electric guitar signal to be fed into one channel of a board for live performance/recording. It exceeded my expectations. The mic preamps are great, the built in effects sound very good and if that weren't enough, there is a USB interface for direct recording into a laptop. Hard to beat at the price.

- Audio interfaces that can compete with this in terms of preamps and effects would be 2 the price of this. - As a mixer its one of the best in class. - Not easily portable as it only uses mains power with no battery solutions. (DIY external power for this would be big and clunky)

Nice clear sound, very nice reverberator settings and compressor. If you don't need more than 10 inputs - this is it! Excellent product!

Primary use to drive set of amplifier speakers outdoors. Didn't need extensive input selection - just something to boost and split signal to 2 speakers. For that purpose this mixer works fine.

Using it in church audio reinforcement during the COVID-19 crisis. Processing on mics 1 & 2 very useful as is USB audio return that can be routed to the monitoring system . (Useful for hearing responses from worshippers on the Zoom platform).

We use this for live sports webcasts and it offers very good sound, especially when you learn how to properly balance volume, gain and compression. We use three headset mics plus a fourth input for a recording/playback device and run the audio out through the USB2 jack to our laptop.

Had the unit for a day and returned it for a refund. Experienced random digital noise when playing back from multiple computers. Could have just been the one unit was defective.

Used the USB connection on the laptop that has the radio automation and after installing the latest firmware update, it automatically recognizes it and works great. I will be purchasing another for when I do live shows remotely soon.
