I have three pairs of these and my only complaint is that eventually the ear muff covering (those that come standard with the headphones) begin to flake off. Hopefully the sheepskin muffs will last longer.

I purchased these primarily as tracking headphones in a recording studio. These were exactly what I was looking for. Comfort, great sound, portable, and little sound leakage when recording next to microphones. You can't ask for much more for the price.

Replaced Bose headphones which were not very well made. Sound is more accurate but not everyone wants more accurate sound. Ear muffs slightly harder than Bose so ear seal not quite as good. Very happy with price, shipping, and performance.

The product accompany me for everything I do, especially revising . The great thing is that it does not annoy people around you when you are in a very quiet place. The cable is also great as it allows one to move around without risking anything? It would be great if it was a bit less heavy.

It sounds like you are hearing from a really good stereo system and it's comfortable to wear. The extension cord is long enough for me to reach around for things around my office cubicle where I use almost everyday. Sony is quality.

A friend of mine has 20 of these in his recording studio. Has tried other brands and higher price. But he says they are still the best. I agree. They have worked great out in the field while videoing wildlife.

I was nervous at first about buying these but I LOVE THEM. I used them for an editing project and they were ideal. I also enjoy to use them for music when I am writing. I love that B&H charges you the current value and doesn't rip you off. Great product, should've bought them sooner.

Very even and enjoyable audio from these. The only complaint I had was a bit of tightness that left my ears uncomfortable. Easily fixed with a firm stretch, however. Highly recommend these.

I use this product when listening to the music I am recording and mixing. They're great considering I don't have a lot of money to spend as an independent artist. The higher frequencies, however, are a little high in the mix. It's something to keep in mind.

I've used these for years with groups of up to 16 users without a problem. Durable and they sound great.

There are a lot of great headphones out there but how do we all know that we are talking about the same sounds... Well... we all wear the same headphones. Love them or hate them every engineer should own a pair of these. FACT.

Great true reproduction headphones for pro recording with a nice long coiled cord. Not for strolling around plugged into your phone.

I've started using the MDR 7506s for mixing at our Church and I love em, they sound perfect for my job, the only con I see is the coily cord and if youre not hanging them they tend to try to fold up on ya when you go to grab them. But Im still glad I got them.

We have a couple of other brands in earphones that I won't mention here except to say that they are pretty expensive compared to these. I like these MDR-7506 best of all the headphones I've used. I use them with the laveliers through the camera or with our field recorder and its all good.

Good isolation, very good quality, great price. I own 5 pairs and use them in my recording studio with no complaints. Very comfortable, especially for multi-hour sessions. There are better quality headphones but for substantially more money. Great buy.

We use for field recording monitoring dialog and interviews, plus misc on set sound recording. Sony makes the best headphones... you can HEAR it. Very flat response, not colored. Very fair price for the quality.
