We have some of these at the radio station I work at. These were purchased for my own hobby of collecting sounds, where I needed a closed ear, light weight set of headphones that I would not mind wearing. These do the job.

We use for field recording monitoring dialog and interviews, plus misc on set sound recording. Sony makes the best headphones... you can HEAR it. Very flat response, not colored. Very fair price for the quality.

I have been a professional voice artist since 1998. These rank up there with the more expensive AKGs. Accurate and comfortable for a great price!

I use this product when listening to the music I am recording and mixing. They're great considering I don't have a lot of money to spend as an independent artist. The higher frequencies, however, are a little high in the mix. It's something to keep in mind.

I use this for video editing in a noisier office. Sometimes people have to tap me on the shoulder because I don't hear them talking right behind me. Ear cups are quite comfortable and sound quality is stellar, although I am not an audiophile.

I purchased these primarily as tracking headphones in a recording studio. These were exactly what I was looking for. Comfort, great sound, portable, and little sound leakage when recording next to microphones. You can't ask for much more for the price.

This design has stood the test of time. It really works well. The closed ear cups give a perfect seal and provide excellent isolation from ambient room noise. Sound quality is superb. Quality product at a modest price.

I bought these to replace a lost pair of Sony MDR-V6's. The 7506's are, to my understanding, the updated version of those. These are excellent cans that offer clear sound while suppressing pretty much all background noise.

I was looking for a pair of headphones that won't be too heavy. These are very comfortable and lightweight. The sound quality is great. Very sensitive to slight sounds.

I use this with a Native Instruments Maschine and love the quality of sound these headphones produce. I am able to wear it for extended periods of time without it bothering my ears, and the range is very good with both the high end and the low end of sounds. Thus far, I have no complaints at all.

Good to use for professional stuff, but I have trouble using it for some everyday things like my TV or laptop. I start getting interference in the sound some how but when I use it with my recording equipment it's great.

Really enjoying these new headphones. Use connected to my Apogee Duet to mix on my iMac and also listen to iTunes while working on other projects. Sound quality and price are great and will probably add a 2nd pair.

Picked up these headphones that a fellow filmmaker had recommended. Was looking for something to use with my audio recorder to better hear playback on set as well as to have a good pair of headphones for editing. So far they done both jobs quite well and I'm glad to have them.

We use these headphones for field recording. This means a lot of handling, in & out of the pouch and exposure to the elements. They hold up well and sound great. These were recommended by a radio journalist and are used widely.
