Good isolation, very good quality, great price. I own 5 pairs and use them in my recording studio with no complaints. Very comfortable, especially for multi-hour sessions. There are better quality headphones but for substantially more money. Great buy.

Amazing headphones, I use them for video editing. Full sound, pretty decent noise reduction. Being studio headphones, they are a bit heavy and can make your ears/head really warm, but the sound quality more than makes up for it.

There are many headphones in the market, but there's a reason why this Sony model has been tried, tested, and still remains a top pick at a great price point. I use these for all of my mixing, mastering, audio needs as well as during video editing. A must have for any studio setup.

We have a couple of other brands in earphones that I won't mention here except to say that they are pretty expensive compared to these. I like these MDR-7506 best of all the headphones I've used. I use them with the laveliers through the camera or with our field recorder and its all good.

Comfortable, easily convertible to single sided listening, solid full-range frequency response. After 20 years I always come back to these.

Used as a field monitoring headphone. It offers good value for tech specs, but the exposed wire junction between head-arch and phone capsules are definitely fragile, the spiral wire is not very practical and maybe too long.

I am a corporate video producer and also a voiceover guy -- I use these in the studio for VO, when I'm out shooting single-camera pieces, and during live production. Bought two sets to keep one in my home studio and one in my travel kit.

Need a great set of headphones, but can't break the$ ceiling? Me too. Bought these with the Zoom H4n, and have found them to be very true to reality tote sound. Good bass, though I'm not all about it, and good highs and mids too. I am definite digging them and can't wait to put then to good use.

I picked these up for live audio monitoring during corporate video shoots. They're perfect for traveling and sound great (especially for just $100!) but, because I wear glasses, they start to hurt my head after a while. I plan on buying higher-quality, third-party earpads to replace the stock ones.

Perfect headphones for a variety of applications. I am a video producer and I like it because of sound clarity and comfort on the ears.

Use these headphones on location and during editing sessions. The only draw back is that the cover on the foam padding pulls away from the sides after steady use. Sound is great.

Headphones are comfortable and have excellent outside noise rejection. Bass response is a little exaggerated but doesn't interfere with a good mix. Highly recommended for live audio and EFP monitoring.

These headphones are used to create music in a studio setup. The headphones are light, completely cover the ear, and block much (but not all) of the ambient room noise. They fold up to be quite compact. I am very happy with them.

Well made, really comfortable and excellent sound at a reasonable price. Order process was seamless and product arrived in promised time.

I have been very happy with the Sony headphones. The quality, sound isolation, and comfort are better than I expected for the price.

Very good at rejecting ambient sounds, though the wire that crosses over to the R speaker is a bit thin, not sure how long it will last, but schematics were included to repair the headphones if it becomes necessary. Good coiled cord and love the folding design.

Really great pair of headphones for quality and comfort, and they're also the industry standard. I wouldn't say they're the best for listening to music recreationally since they're more for monitoring and editing but they will last you long.

I just got this headset based on the online review. I will say the headset is light and comfortable. The buld quality is very decent. The sound quality is very good. I can wear it for long hours without any fatigue. I might get another one in the near future.

-Casual music listener -Comfortable, but a bit snug (I have a big head). Also, those who are use to earbuds may find headphones a bit cumbersome. -Nice long cord -Nice range, but music sometimes sounds a bit distant, especially with jazz and classical

Best value for the price (also check out the MDR-V6). I find these fit better than the Shure SRH-440s, they also fold up smaller. The sound is very even, these are great for monitoring, isolation is good but not perfect.
