I work in the film business and took a survey from sound mixers/recordists and they all suggested these as the workhorse of the industry. I purchased them and I am very happy with what I hear. It turns out my wife who is a singer and radio host also prefers them to my other headphones and I can never find them. I am happily buying another pair fortunately they are affordable.

My 20 year old Sony Professional headphones finally died after one too many drops to the floor. I purchased these as a replacement. I use these headphones to do run and gun video production and music (primarily piano) recitals. They provide full range frequency sound which allows me to hear all of the bad notes.

I really like the audio and build quality of this headphone set, along with the long, coiled audio cable. In fact, I like this headphone set so much, I bought a second set--one for my audio gear and the other for the cameraman to use.

Well I am going to say that I am in radio and I have used these headphones for years. I have also seen them on more heads than I can count. I use them for at least 5 hrs everyday. They are light weight and have a great sound. I take them with me if I have to be another studio. Don't leave home without them.

We have several pairs of these in the studio and they rarely disappoint. There are a few serious competitors in this range now like the Sennheiser HD280, but one of the benefits to owning the Sony pair is that if you learn to work with them, you will have predictable results almost anywhere because they are so ubiquitous. Pros: They sound great and you can hammer nails with them. Cons: Coiled cord, nearly identical to the cheaper Sony V6 pair.

Just a short on to add to the 800+ reviews loving these. They sound great, are comfortable & compact. I find myself always grabbing these, just looking for excuses to use them all the time. I mainly use them for setting recording levels and they are awesome to detect issues even when Im in a noisy environment.

This is an outstanding product for radio announcers. As many know, we put our headphones on and off frequently, and we need a sturdy pair of headphones that feature terrific sound dynamics. Simply won't use any other brand!

Always wanted a pair for the brand name that it stands for and it hasnt disappointed me. The cable length is a little problematic for others but I did not find it a problem. The cups could be more comfortable - but I wont complain too much about them. I could always upgrade and buy cups separately. so far so good.

I've been in the film and video production industry for nearly 20 years now. I've used several brand of headphones from varying price rages. These bad boys a by far the best you can get for the price range. I've had more expensive headphones that do go near the 7506s.

I use it with my MBP and iPhone sometimes, its 1/8 provides more oppotunities to use it not only in Studio. Low frquency is stronger than I thought, compare with K271II and k701,similar to Sennheiser's style. Out-standing mid-freq.

Working as an audio professional, 7506 is the only model I will ever buy. I was devastated when my last pair that I had for nearly ten years were stolen. I was over joyed to learn that they were still available.

Sounds great. Sturdy Construction. I'm not a super audiophile, but for video production work they are super. No nonsense product. Probably too industrial looking (but not in a cool way) for hipster styling.

The Disc Jockies for three radio stations use these headphones day in and out. Including the On-Air studios, production studios, edit studios and remote trucks there are 20 units in use. All the operators like them. The three failures this year were related to the temper of the operator...J Hobbs CE

This is a replacement for a earlier version - 10 years old and still in use, though it looks like it has led a hard life. These are great headphones for video and audio production and I love the folding feature.

sound quality is remarkably good for the price. good bass and clean midtones, highs. you will be satisfied with them. I use them to listen to music I've recorded on my Sony PCM-M10 digital portable recorder which I also bought from B&H. Great duo.

There is no doubt why this headphones remain as the industry standard for sound mixers, recordists, boom ops, etc. After using the AKG K240 for a long time, the switch to these guys was great.

I use this while editing video and adding a little extra polish to the sound in sound booth. Compared to the PC speakers I was using before the quality of sound is leaps and bounds above. Has a little more bass than I'm used to, but it's not objectionable by any means.
