From a price to quality perspective these headphones are terrific! They have a clear, clean, sound. I use them with the Rode USB Mini Microphone broadcasting with OBS to Zoom. Additionally, I appreciate the comfort of the earpads as I am on Zoom all day. I am very happy with the product and highly recommend them to those wanting high-quality budget-friendly monitor-type headphones.

I am on my second pair of these Sony Headphones. Unfortunately my first pair literally fell apart. Then the cord malfunctioned after 9 months. Maybe I got a bad pair I don't know but the second pair sounds different(More Highs).I know that I paid only a mere $but I expected better from all the talk about these Headphones. They do keep the noise out very well and fit just right, but if you are clumsy like me, these are not the headphones for you.

I've been using a much more expensive set of Bose headphones for years. When they began to wear out, I didn't want to spend so much money on a replacement. Excellent. Very happy with the purchase.

You will waste a ton of dough on cheap headphones. Then, you will wise up and get the MDR-7506 headphones. They're fabulous. When I added these to my cart, BH gave me $20 off, so these cost me $79. Always check the price in the cart!

These are not for Audiophiles, if you are looking for those set of headphones look at the AKG K 702 Headphones. These should be used for monitoring of audio inputs for video recordings. Don't get me wrong, these are good headphones overall and I used them on flights just to avoid carrying two sets of headphones when I travel around. I cannot speak highly enough especially for the price.

These were recommended to me for editing video and checking the audio while I'm filming and I'm happy with them for that purpose! They do well with monitoring vocal recordings. They're also quite comfortable and I like that I can flip one ear over if I don't want to be totally surrounded by what I'm listening to (like when I'm recording voiceovers).

Beautiful product. Incredible sound quality, people clamor to listen to them. Very lightweight, comfortable to use (even more comfortable with pearstone velour pads, $). Very mobile, as they fold up compactly. The cord can get a little annoying because of its length, and they're not the best-looking headphones, but these are very minor gripes. Altogether I recommend them immensely.

While my wife is a part-time 'hobbyist' vocalist and musician, she has had the opportunity to record on a handful of projects in studio. She compares these Sonys to what she's used in the past (and believes they were Sonys on at least two or three occasions). Suffice to say, she likes them, which I implied from the smiling and slow nodding and voiced no complaints about sound reproduction.

I ordered these for my son and he says as an audiophile he thinks they're not far from perfect. And they block out ambient noise very well as from the lawn mower.

...very comfortable and is great for a simple pair of monitor headphones. As I am not an audiophile but rather a sound engineer I prefer the best raw sound as opposed to the highest fidelity. These phones work great for giving you a raw sound without too much bass. A more accurate sound is what I work with, and these deliver.

The headphones came in brand new condition. They fit comfortably, the ear pieces are a little flimsy though. The sound is great but i wish they were louder! It might be the device i'm using, my laptop, that i use them with. I was expecting a little more base and sound but overall i love them. It was definitely worth the money i spent.

The sound quality is excellent. They are relatively comfortable and surprisingly light. The included 1/8 to 1/4 adapter is screw on which I like. I have had a slight problem with the cord getting tangled in my computer chair but that is no fault of the headphones. The stretchable cable seems reasonable and appropriate.

There's a reason that these are industry standard. Every film editing bay that I've been in has usually had these, so I finally picked up a pair for myself for my at-home station. They're great -- very comfortable over my petite ears! Sometimes headphones tend to hurt my small ears, but these fit wonderfully. The sound quality is fantastic. Very well balanced headphones with not too much bass.

Good pro phones for the price. They are a common standard reference used by most recordists using portable machines and provide a common reference. Good resolution. They do have colorations and should not be used as the sole audition for post mixes, especially for music. I like the Sheepskin Earpads, although slightly more slippery compared to the cloth ones available.

I've been in the video/audio business close to 30 years and have always used the mdr-7506 headphones. I've tried others, occasionally, but nothing sounds as clean as the Sony brand. Durable and rugged, but you will need to upgrade the earpads because the plastic coating doesn't last long.

After borrowing this model from my audio-video son for a year, I have finally made the plunge. These headphones are great, comfortable, not too isolating, and very linear for a classical music buff. Presence is very good. You just won't find better headphones for the money. The long cord is a real plus!

The sound is fantastic. Great bass response, clear mids, crisp highs. These cans work great for my video and audio editing work, and are nice to use for music. Five stars for sound. While they do fit over my ears, the cups could be deeper. The edges of my ears touch the inner felt over the drivers, which is a bit disappointing. Four stars for the size.

Great sound quality for the price. I'd say these are the best headphones you can buy for under $. Great noise cancelling dynamic and extra comfy on the ears. These headphones will make any audio job easier, great bang for the buck!

Great for monitoring audio when shooting video. If you're on a budget and can't afford Sennheiser; Sony headphones and mic kits are a nice alternative. Good quality, durable and compact which are all pros when in the field. I've used Sony headphones since the mid-90s and still have my first pair.
