There's one issue that I'm working on correcting in which the audio from an external source is not syncing with the video perfectly. There's just enough of a latency that's driving me crazy. Autofocus is insane. Battery life is awesome. It's my new favorite camera (as long as I can get that audio fixed... I hope it's me an not the camera. It didn't happen on my a6500's.)

I had an A6000 for years and decided it was time to up my game. I picked up the A6600 and it is awesome! The quality of the video is tops, but what really became a game changer for me was the ability to monitor my external microphone! It's super fun to use, all in all, with superior quality still images and amazing video. The bigger battery lasts so much longer, and the bigger grip, as a result of the bigger battery, is indeed comfy, even for my lady hands. I highly recommend this camera!

Compared to A6400, it has a better grip, much improved battery life and a mediocre IBIS. It however lacks panorama mode and built in flash, which the A6400 have.

I have not had this very long, but really enjoy using it. It takes very good photos, is easy to focus and to learn the menu although I don't yet know all the great things it can do. I took it on a recent vacation and all the photos turned out great, whether landscape, other people, group photos. It is a great size and weight for travel!

B&H helped me to upgrade from my first camera, a Sony a6000, to the a6600 and I'm thrilled. The updated form factor with the extended grip is fantastic. That larger grip is due to a bigger battery which allows me to go all day long on one charge! Not having a 30-minute limit on video shoots is amazing, and this camera hasn't shown a hint of overheating. Best of all, I absolutely love the eye tracking auto focus for both humans and animals. It's well worth the money and B&H saved me on tax! I give the camera, and B&H, 5 stars! ... More

Better grip is a plus and more sturdy feel. Great travel camera and great for portraits with fast focusing of moving subjects. Love the sunset scene setting. All in all a great upgrade from the a6000. Takes some getting used to to navigate the new menu settings. One of the best little cameras from Sony so far. Also has a much needed longer battery life.

This is a very good camera. I will mainly use for filming music videos.. Price wise its in upper bucket for an apsc camera. I was planning to buy A7III, but after some online study I decided to give a try for A6600. It has everything that A7III has, only difference is crop sensor. So far I am loving it..

This is one of the best mid-cost Camera not too expensive and not a lot of compromise. I used to use my iPhone as a recording camera but after using this camera with the ease of use and super phenomenal quality. I'll give it a 5 stars, the only downside is the lens I would be upgrading it for a lens with a same f/Aperture lens. I would recommend this camera who is a amateur videographer for Youtube like myself.

I been recording weddings with this Sony a6600 as my b-camera to my Sony a7s iii, and I love the quality and flexibility, it's almost like a baby a7s iii, uses same batteries and same eye autofocus in 4K Video! No overheating in 4K 24p in over 1 hour 30 minutes at room temperature! That's just amazing!

This camera is what I expected. I came from the A6400 so no surprises here. Battery life, IBIS, programmable buttons, and eye auto-focus in video are my reasons why I bought this. I use this for family photography and vacations so it is perfect size for my needs.

Perhaps Sony read all the reviews stating that $1300 was too high a price, and decided to put it on immediate sale for $1100. Great upgrade from my A6000. Used Animal Eye AF at a cat cafe and it worked as designed. Disappointing to not have a new sensor and a USB-C port.

I have always been a fan of Canon cameras. I am a new fan of Sony now. After researching for a month, I decided this camera had all the features I needed. The images are amazing. I love the battery life, the ability to make the display brighter when I am shooting during the day and being able to see them on my phone within minutes of taking them. It was easy to set up. I have found the camera very user friendly.

I love this camera. The grip is a huge improvement over the a6400 - the same goes for battery life! IBIS is ok, not GH5 levels of stabilization, but I wasn't expecting that. I'm bothered that you can't set custom white balance while in on of the memory modes - very odd. Would have been really nice if they could have included 4k 60p, or even 4k 30p at Super 35. Overall - a great buy if you're looking for an affordable, small package.

If you are a video creator or even an avid semi-pro photographer, this is for you. You will be shocked at just how solid the build is with this and how easy it is to use. I actually jumped from Nikon to this and I am overjoyed that I did. Mirrorless cameras are the way to go now.

I got this camera as an upgrade for my a6000 and it's a great improvement. I use the Sigma 16mm and 30mm and the AF system is super quick even with these non-native lenses. I haven't noticed whether the IBIS is useful yet, but I imagine it will be once I take more low-light images. The battery life is of course much better as well. I primarily use this for landscape photography and some portraits, and it's been great for all of these.

The Sony Alpha a6600 has been everything and more than I expected it to be! The easy to use button layout and flip screen are my favorite pieces to this masterpiece! I am able to flip thru modes and change settings without interruption. The quality that it gives is amazing and its light weight saves energy when I'm shooting! I highly recommend this for your gear bag!

Beautiful shots every time! So much lighter then my old dslr's I had. Thats even with bigger lens on it like the 70-350. I love that I switched from a mounts to e mounts. Even the prices for lenses is better. So worth every penny spent!!

Sony has upped their game with the A6600. The built in features are simply not to be beaten. With the right lens, this camera can produce some of the best pictures I have ever taken. Highly recommend for the professional photographer as well as a budding beginner. Ultra light and easy to carry as well. Love it!

Sony finally delivered the a series camera that everyone was asking them for. It's great for Vlogging and great Cinematic B-Camera. Slowmotion 120fps looks great and so does 4K. The autofocus is amazing with the eye tracking being so accurate. Really the only thing that can make this camera even better is ability to shoot raw or at least 10bit video.
