I wanted to try my luck learning paper photography and this seemed like a great camera for both photo and video. I'm very pleased so far but not qualified to review much beyond that.

Purchased the a6600 and found the viewfinder dark outside, menu difficult to navigate and frankly the images not as good as the X-T3 and X-T4 FujiFilm that I own. I'm quite disappointed.

I love it how it can focus and blur the background. But can't offer zoom in. Sony didn't use the a6600's big handgrip to add an additional command dial. The a6600 has a dial at the rear of the top plate, and one that sits flat on the rear, but doesn't offer the front/rear dial experience

I was hoping to use this camera for video using a camera strap to help stabilize in run and gun situations. I just can't do it with a 35mm equivalent. It is too wobbly. The IBIS is 2% better than worthless. I wouldn't film above 3200 iso in 4k. Great battery life. On a tripod locked off this would be ok. The Autofocus is amazing. A great feature added to an old camera.
