Sound is good and serves my purpose of monitoring sound while video editing. It is true though, as other reviews stated before me, that it hurts on the top of the head. I move it a little forward towards my forehead and it makes the trick: does not hurt anymore.

I read the reviews and agree with what others are saying about: *the sound quality is fantastic *headband hurts my head (I believe it's because they are heavy) *the cord needs to be a straight cord (this cord is not great at all) But the sound is fantastic, so I'll keep on.

Tese headphones are pretty nice. I A/B'd all the $100 headphones and these were the best that B%h has in their superstore. The low end is good, the high end doesn't rip your ears out like the Sony 7506. they are colapsable which is nice for touring/ traveling.

Tried the Sony Pro at the same price point and was very disappointed. Not comfortable at all. And kinda cheap. Immediately went back to the Shure SRH440. Comfortable enough for all day use. Real Pro. They added the detachable cord which is nice. Last pair lasted years. Full sound. Great value.

Headband broke after two years although I don't use it much (it's my back up) and was careful when taking it on and off. For the price, I see no reason for buying such a flimsy headphone.

Not great headphones for a boom op. They creak and crack and make a lot of noise which definitely gets picked up in smaller indoor environments. Been using mine for a few years though and only had to replace the cable once, so they're solid, but only if you're away from set.

These sound amazing, but the real beauty is how comfortable they are. I often find myself wearing headphones for hours on end (who doesn't) and many of my previous cans would straight-up HURT after that long. These are glorious little pillows that do not fatigue the ears. Amazing!

These headphones sound good but the customer service of this dealer is the real stand out here, EXCELLENT Reverb Store! I used to order from them back in the paper magazine days and they are just as good as ever to order from in the digital age. These Shure headphones, sure are a great deal.

These headphones give a really really great and dynamic sound. For the price point, you just cannot beat them. I needed something to do audio mixing, and these absolutely deliver. The sound quality is great while mixing and even just for listening to music.

So far they are performing as expected. Bass is great and clarity almost perfect. They sealed perfectly around the ear. And the price is at everyone budget...

Bought these to use in a multi-person podcast setup. They are very comfortable and have a fine frequency range for podcasting.

I bought these for my Wife, but she only used them for about 4 days when the right speaker stopped working, and the padding on the same ear came off, I returned them and got a full refund.
