I'm no audiophile and have never purchased any headphones this expensive. They stay in my ears securely even running at the gym. Sound really good, you can get finer detail you can't get with other cheap sets. On the subway they drown out other noises pretty well. You don't have to blast the volume and look like those idiots that everyone has to listen to their music too. I'm happy with them and will treat them like a baby thats for sure.

I'm very particular about how well my audio sounds. I have high end, over the ear headphones and love the sound....but, I needed a small set of in ear bud type for certain activities. I had heard many folks on audio review shows speak highly of this model....so I tried them and am very pleased with them. They do take a little work to get them in your ears properly, withnthe cable going over the top and down the backside.....good sound.

I use the SE215 to monitor my live sound mixes and they are great for the job! They feel very comfortable in my ears and isolate the ambient sound very well. The balance of the all the frequencies is very good. I carry them with me all the time and use them to listen to music as well. Now I can't live without them!

I wanted some headphones that would protect my hearing from loud wind noise while riding my motorcyle, yet also provided good sound quality. These work great but they're oddly shaped. It took a lot of effort to keep them in ear when putting on a helmet, and sometimes they would come out mid-ride when I turned my head. I ended up having to buy the triple flange sleeves and they now stay in great. Much quieter ride while listening to some good tunes (or GPS directions).

I purchased these Shure headphones to replace Shure SL315 that I lost recently. Overall I would say that the sound is improved across from lows to highs. Very good sound, excellent insulation. My only issues are 1) these are bigger than the 315's I had which makes the perfect fit a little harder to get and 2) the cord is detachable which makes the headphones rotate around the cord when you insert them. It makes me spend more time every time they get inserted.

I'm giving these 5 stars since they are entry level products that operate significantly above entry level expectations. Most of my friends who are professional musicians at least have a set of these in their gig bags as back ups to their custom ears. If you don't have 1k to invest in a set of ears buy these until you can take the plunge into high end IEM's. You will always have them in your arsenal in case disaster strikes. These won't make you a better musician only practice does that!

The sound of these earbuds is quite impressive. I have owned many different types of earbuds (Sennheiser, Klipsch, Sony) in the past, but these lead the pack. The only drawback is the fit of the buds can be a little tricky. With minimal movement, the fit is fine, but they can be quite tricky while attempting to find a good position and sometimes, even fall out. I'll keep experimenting with fit, but as for sound - A+!.

These are very nice-sounding earbuds - not mind-blowing but very nice. Mostly Netflix and on-line stuff. Reason for review is - I have narrow sort of pointy ears. A friend called them elf ears. Not much goes in there easily. I WATCHED THE INSTRUCTION ON THE WEBSITE...very important if you haven't worn these before. With the smallest covers scrunched up I can wear these very comfortably for several hours! Success at last

These things are amazing but after 3 months the Right ear bud blew out and I don't even play music that loud.

Just received these bad boys 2 days ago and i love the crisp sound and bass. Bass isnt too much where it disrupts the clarity of the music. Its just right. For the price, You would get anything better. Bose or Beats do not compare. For earbuds these rock! You will have to figure out what buds are best for your ears. I personally like foam because they are more comfortable and have better sound cancellation. Buy these... you wont be disappointed!

I am using these for DJ'ing. I was disappointed by the bass on these. Just not much punch at all. But for the price point, I get it. What really disappointed me thought was the physical discomfort these cause. The foam part and the sound channel they surround are quite short, so in oder to get a good snug fit, the entire unit needs to be pushed as far as possible into the ear. The result is that the bulky plastic part of the main body is digging into the flesh of the ear. Ouch.

Great acoustics and overall sound quality. Bass is not as great as I thought it would be but significantly better than other headphones in the same price range. Overall design and fit takes a bit to get use to; I often find myself struggling while putting them in. I was expecting the cord to be braided since it was described as being reinforced with Kevlar, however it is just a thicker cord. I would buy these again.

Great product if you're just getting into home studio and probably even live performance if you have wireless transmitters (separate $$$ purchase - can't confirm). I'm a guitar player/home studio joker who was just looking for something that sounded good across all necessary frequencies and didn't constantly fall off my head while jamming out in front of my cats. These things fit the bill, worth the hundred bones. Don't be cheap

Wow. These have pretty amazing bass response. Almost too much. It took some getting used to. Overall great sound though. I bought these for the quiet stage setup At church. But they work great for practicing guitar through my Iridium as well. Not the most comfortable, but I'm just getting used to IEMs.

I've had these for a few months now and I abolutely love these. I've had many different brands in the past, but i always come back to Shure and these are fantastic. The sound quality is great and the noise isolation is really good. I do a fair bit of travel by plane and these monitors really drown out the airplane engines. Great dynamic range with these. you wont be disappointed, unless you're an audiophile, then check out the higher end line of Shure.

I give this four stars for its sound quality. The isolating properties are amazing and the driver is among the best I tested it. I purchased it and was very happy. For a short while. The problem was, the hard case that holds the drivers and sits just outside the ear canal pressed against my ears too much. In the end, the hard plastic parts were just too big and caused discomfort. I was very disappointed to have to return them because they sounded great. But they weren't right for my ears.

The Shure SE215 headphones are honestly one of the best pairs of headphones I have ever used. The sound quality is fantastic and the noise isolation works really well. Plus, once you get used to the different way they fit in your ears, they are very comfortable. 10/10 Would Recommend

We bought 11 pairs of these to use with our church band's in-ear monitor system. They sound great. I'm sure the multiple driver models would sound even better, but $$99, we've found the perfect solution for our needs.Everyone is very pleased with quality, and the included 6 options of earbuds make sure everyone gets the fit and feel they need.Learning to put them in is a bit tricky, but once you get it, the seal is excellent.

I bought these primarily for on-stage in-ear monitors. After using Sennheisers IE4 for years, these were a great step up! They seal very well and sound great. The cable is very heavy and replaceable. This was a big selling point for me. They have great low end response and very good mids and highs. I can't wait to try them travelling. I highly recommend these for anyone looking in this price range!

Even after trying most of ear pieces and connections on my computer or directly connected to a focusrite solo gen 2, the sound was still way to tin like. Very unnatural. No bass what so ever. I wouldn't even consider these adequate enough to be called monitors. difficult to get ear pieces on and off. Plus the plastic ear extension where the ear pieces go on looks scary, being plastic at this price range. if you need bass look at Sony's or Shennhieser for monitors. I chose rha t10i at a savings.
