Great acoustics and overall sound quality. Bass is not as great as I thought it would be but significantly better than other headphones in the same price range. Overall design and fit takes a bit to get use to; I often find myself struggling while putting them in. I was expecting the cord to be braided since it was described as being reinforced with Kevlar, however it is just a thicker cord. I would buy these again.

I ordered them to replace another pair of Shure's that I had lost. These fit as snugly and protrude less than the E2c's I had before. The sound quality is good, and I wore them under my motorcycle helmet both ways across the country. They are very sound isolating, and do not fall out!

These are my third pair of Shure 215s. Gave the last pair away. Bought new ones. These earphones provide excellent isolation from outside sound AND great fidelity. The key is to get a good seal in your ear and that can take a bit of experimenting with the wires. Once its right the sound fills out (great bass response and detail) and the outside sounds disappear. I also recommend using the white silicone flange tips, which you may have to buy separately.

I'm no audiophile and have never purchased any headphones this expensive. They stay in my ears securely even running at the gym. Sound really good, you can get finer detail you can't get with other cheap sets. On the subway they drown out other noises pretty well. You don't have to blast the volume and look like those idiots that everyone has to listen to their music too. I'm happy with them and will treat them like a baby thats for sure.

Wow. These have pretty amazing bass response. Almost too much. It took some getting used to. Overall great sound though. I bought these for the quiet stage setup At church. But they work great for practicing guitar through my Iridium as well. Not the most comfortable, but I'm just getting used to IEMs.

The sound of these earbuds is quite impressive. I have owned many different types of earbuds (Sennheiser, Klipsch, Sony) in the past, but these lead the pack. The only drawback is the fit of the buds can be a little tricky. With minimal movement, the fit is fine, but they can be quite tricky while attempting to find a good position and sometimes, even fall out. I'll keep experimenting with fit, but as for sound - A+!.

I've had these for a few months now and I abolutely love these. I've had many different brands in the past, but i always come back to Shure and these are fantastic. The sound quality is great and the noise isolation is really good. I do a fair bit of travel by plane and these monitors really drown out the airplane engines. Great dynamic range with these. you wont be disappointed, unless you're an audiophile, then check out the higher end line of Shure.

I bought these to replace a slightly cheaper no-name pair. I use them for monitoring in a live performance situation. The difference was night and day. The earpiece is sized to keep the inserts well into your ear. If you are presently using some consumer grade earbuds for this purpose, I cannot recomm no these highly enough. Best for the price.

I purchased these looking for sound isolation and adequate reproduction while traveling. Obviously, their sound can't be compared to that of full, accurate headphones, but they do extremely well for said purpose. If you're looking for a quality product that will last and make you happy on a tighter budget, these are highly recommended!

I give this four stars for its sound quality. The isolating properties are amazing and the driver is among the best I tested it. I purchased it and was very happy. For a short while. The problem was, the hard case that holds the drivers and sits just outside the ear canal pressed against my ears too much. In the end, the hard plastic parts were just too big and caused discomfort. I was very disappointed to have to return them because they sounded great. But they weren't right for my ears.

I purchased these Shure headphones to replace Shure SL315 that I lost recently. Overall I would say that the sound is improved across from lows to highs. Very good sound, excellent insulation. My only issues are 1) these are bigger than the 315's I had which makes the perfect fit a little harder to get and 2) the cord is detachable which makes the headphones rotate around the cord when you insert them. It makes me spend more time every time they get inserted.

I wear them for multiple hours. they work so good that when people talk to you in the face you simple can't hear them. On the plane, you don't hear the plane. Plain awesome.

Even after trying most of ear pieces and connections on my computer or directly connected to a focusrite solo gen 2, the sound was still way to tin like. Very unnatural. No bass what so ever. I wouldn't even consider these adequate enough to be called monitors. difficult to get ear pieces on and off. Plus the plastic ear extension where the ear pieces go on looks scary, being plastic at this price range. if you need bass look at Sony's or Shennhieser for monitors. I chose rha t10i at a savings.

These earphones are amazing not just because of the price but because once you get them fitted properly in your ears they become airtight with that be careful walking in the streets because they block out all surrounding sound! It's like being in a studio. The earphones due fit like a glove and very comfortable with amazing sound.

These headphones have great quality sound at a very reasonable price. The headphones take a few times of use to get the hang of installing them in your ears. Once you have the proper fit, they stay in place. Great surrounding sound deadening qualities. FYI, make sure you get a good tight seal in your ear or the headphones will sound quiet with little to no low end (bass). Enjoy!

I've had Shure headphones before but these are much better than the less expensive model I had. I also bought the triple flange sleeves that make them much easier to insert and make a better seal for me. The better seal really accentuates the sound quality from these and the sound isolation improves. Cables are also very nice.

These are flawless earbuds. I'm an audio engineer and album reviewer. I've played around with cheap headphones for years, always felt they were too woofy or too sizzly. For work, I have a pair of AT, Sennheiser, and Beyerdynamic over-ear cans that have such a rich fullness I thought could never be replicated in earbuds. These proved me wrong. They're a little cumbersome to get on, but super comfortable, completely sealed, and stay in place once they're on so well worth the trouble.

Just received these bad boys 2 days ago and i love the crisp sound and bass. Bass isnt too much where it disrupts the clarity of the music. Its just right. For the price, You would get anything better. Bose or Beats do not compare. For earbuds these rock! You will have to figure out what buds are best for your ears. I personally like foam because they are more comfortable and have better sound cancellation. Buy these... you wont be disappointed!

I bought these for casual listening and for working out. I had a pair from years ago and they had great sound, never slipped out of my ear and lasted a through a lot of abuse. Since those broke, I tried other brands with lower sound quality and POOR fit. Messing with earbuds while running drives me crazy. I recently got this pair and am thrilled. They were completely worth the price. The sound is great and they fit perfectly.

The esrbuds are pretty much the best entry point into quality IEMs. They are not the most bass present but! They are very balanced and accurate. We bought 3 sets. The singers / guitar players love them. I as a drum/ engineer wish the bass response was a bit more extended but im am still VERY impressed with the clarity. A bit of panning really makes the monitor mix gain separation and depth. For 100buck i truley feel these are the best option.
