I need to remove my iPhone case to use this microphone. Nowhere in the descriptions does this say this. I had to spend extra money to buy a lightning plug from Apple in order to use this. Very unhappy.

I purchased it to live stream my Church Service, a Catholic Mass. The building has a lot of echoes, with this mic I was able to focus where the sand was that made it a lot more intelligible. My congregation has been every happy with the new sound of this mic.

This mic is warmer with music than my RODE stereo video mic, which has larger diaphragms. Used both on several musical events and when blinded picked the Shure every time.

The audio is much better than from my iOS 8s built-in mic but I have yet to edit the video to really appreciate the difference. I wish there was a way to monitor the audio while recording.

Great mic but you are forced to take off protective cell phone case in order to use the plug. Found an extender on Amazon that worked good. Please for 120 dollars, include this with mic.

Used this and a zoom Q8 for a classical guitar recital. There wasn't enough low end, and the zoom was just so vastly better that I don't think I want my money to go towards this iPhone mic.

Returned and purchased the MV88+ kit instead. The MV88+ also has excellent audio quality and has zero issues with shockproof cases.
