I don't see any big difference between using Shure MOTIV MV88 and my iPhone 7+ mic. I have tested multiple different ways but still did not convince me to have it. In additional, very important, there is no plug in to charge while recording in case your battery ran out because the MV88 is there, unless you buy any adaptor with 1 male and 2 female. But i don't see anyone test it like that yet!

The mic will not mount to an iPad in a protective case.I'm expected to take my iPad into a crowd without its Otter case? Stupid design, lack of for thought.
