This mic is build like a tank much like its SM58 sibling. Its an all around good mic, but might not be the best pic for instruments (see SM57 / Beta 57 for that), but has been working super well with really good background noise rejection.

I use the mic for recording at home, the sound quality is excellent. Background noise pickup is absent despite playing a background track while I record the vocal.

This is one amazing mic, very clear and articulate, has more umph than the regulas sm58, it is the same mic used by the Lead Singer of the Killers.

We use this mike in a middle school seventh grade technology class for a simulated radio broadcast. It gets used for eight class a day and it is kid proof! If I ever needed another one I would buy it again.

Great mic for the price, arrived quick. Really wish it had an on/off switch, but I should have paid attention before buying. Looks and sounds great. Using it for band practice and plan to use it for gigs. Definitely an improvement over the cheap peavey mic I was using.

The bundle pricing was the best deal I have seen. The Shure 58A is a good microphone but I find the Beta58A is a better mic for female vocals. Excellent product.

using for amateur church singers, this is a good choice. It sounds good for its price, handles high spl's, has good feedback rejection and it resists to sometimes careless people.
