Setting myself for gigging... Singer/ songwriter in the beginning stage having practiced the last 6 years and some 30 plus songs I finally decided to go for it. As I get familiar with the equipment and my routine, I'd say this mic does well... Now if only I could sing better :) ps.. the mic has helped and boosted confidence too.

Havent had any problems with feedback or sensitivity. Low handling noise is always a plus. Folks like to drop these mics but still no issues and work great. Usually have to add in some AMBIANCE since the sound isn't as "full or warm" Overall an Awesome Mic!

I use this in order to record sound from DJ's speakers during my video taping. I would not change this product with any other. The sound that I record while working is unbelievable and unbeatable. It is easy to use and worth it.

I was an "SM58 guy" but one of my bandmates suggested I try one of these. I like the sound better, and it seems every bit as rugged as the SM58.

If you have been around live sound for a while, you have no-doubt engaged in the "best mic for a hundred bucks" debate. Well for me the E835 is the hands down winner, especially compared to the SM58. I own a bunch of these, and they are my "go-to" mic for many applications. But wait, there's more! This three-pack is an amazing value. Stop reading reviews and buy these.

I prefer the e835 over the Shure sm58 both in sound and value. Especially at $15 less per microphone with this 3 pack. I've even converted two of my local bands over to e835 for their live performances based on audience feedback, specifically the vocals in a male rock bands. I primarily use this microphones for podcasts and panel setups. I'm sure I'm be buying more again soon for more clients.

I've had my '835 for about 5 years now. It still works great. It has a great sound and very FULL frequency response. For the price best mic you'll find.

Been using nothing but Shure mikes for over 50 years and still think they are great mikes. I do mostly Solo shows now and am finding that the Sennheiser 835 is making my voice sound like "my voice!" I haven't used it yet with the band I play with, but it seems like it will cut through the mix a little better.

We buy these mics as gifts for our guest singers, we have 4 that we've had since 2009. Workhorses that don't fail and sound great! To the ears of our band and fans, the e835 sounds fuller and rounder, the SM58 sounds thinner and tinnier/harsher. I think Shure makes an e835 competitor now, but why not go with the original?

I'm told these are top-quality mic's at this price level, and compare favorably with a Shure SM58, which is a pretty tall claim. But I'll vouch for them - they sound fantastic. They're solidly built. I think if anything, the comparison between the Shure and these comes down to personal preference. I'm very happy with these.

I used 58s for years until I discovered the EV e835 some years back. Great, sturdy stage mic with much more clarity than a 58. I used the e835 exclusively when I had my own band. So all my gear awhile back but found myself in need of a mic. So I'm glad I found one at a very reasonable price. Best bargain out there for a great stage mic.

As a kit at the $100 price point, I'd say it's a good value. The mic however drops off in sensitivity with every inch you get away from it. So that in order to use this mic, you have to be right up on it. It's okay for voice overs, but if used for anything else, you fairly have to shout into it.

This was an excellent purchase, came with everything I needed, mic, stand, cable, mic clip. Mic sounds really good, stand is well made. I would buy again. I bought this package for an additional vocal mic on my second keyboard in my home studio

What can I say? Only that it's a major improvement over our 1980's PL80's. These are amazingly clear and significantly hotter. Between using the other shure sm58's, Pl80's, hands down they're no competition. Sennheiser for affordability and quality every time.

These E835 microphones are nice. They sound great for vocals. I have purchased many E835s in the past few years and have never been disappointed. Great value. We use them in our church for live worship vocalists.

These are used in a church. They sound great, feel great in your hand, and our previous ones have held up very well. A bit lower output than some - had to crank up the trim on the PA board.
