Hands down one of the best products i've bought for on the go audio. Only reason I'm not giving it a 5-Star is because i feel like they could have gone just a little bit further with a better implementation of the dead cats (im totally going to lose those), and possibly a threaded mic jack on the transmitter. This is one of those Rode products that you just know will get an upgraded "plus" version in the future. Definitely a wicked product!

I was excited to replace Rode's Filmmaker Kit with their new Wireless Go. For my production and budget, the wireless go was the best investment when coupled with the Rode Lavaliere. The audio quality is on par with Rode's previous line up. When recording into a Zoom field recorder, perfect set up. If you have the budget.....INVEST. Also..the customer service and quality from B&H was perfect. 24 to 36 hours after I hit purchase, the product was in route.

I tested this in the field head to head with the Sennheisser G4 system Ive used for years and the only difference I saw was the range. The Rode drops out after about 50 (not measured, just by eye). The sound quality of the onboard mic is really good. The only negative is that even though it is small, the clip is much bigger than a lav clip, and it is not very hideable. Best uses are for quick use, or with an added lav.

The Rode Wireless GO is the best solution for clean audio when youre running and gunning. Receiver always sits on the rig and the transmitter is ready to attach on whomever I need clean audio from. I also have the receiver sitting on a cold shoe ready for any situation. Audio from shotgun and rode split going into a Juicedlink audio device so I have the best of both worlds.

This mic setup is the easiest thing to use. You can also hide it really easy if you need to have an action or running scene where audio is harder to capture. I love the level adjustments right at my fingertips for easy fixes. So simple when having the 2 person setup!

I am using these with my iPhone 12 Pro to shoot video indoors and out. Sound quality has been excellent. No issues with range. My subjects tuck the mic inside their shirt and I have the receiver attached to my DJI OM 4 with a cold shoe. The mic has three level adjustments which has worked fine. Did some outdoor shooting Sunday. It was windy, but you wouldn't have known it from the sound quality. Had the transmitter and receiver on for 3 plus hours and didn't have any battery issues.

I use this for interviews and it works great. I just clip it to the lapel of my subject and the receiver gets piped into my mixer. I'm not super picky, so your mileage may vary, but I think the vocal audio quality is excellent. I wish the blue LEDs could be turned off so it was a little less conspicuous, but so far I've been able to obscure them well enough.

It has worked perfect with my iPhone. I used it to live stream church.

First Rode promised to sent new ones. Then they emailed me saying they will send knew ones. Then I got an email saying they dont have any. The problem really is the design is defective so unless they redesign them replacements will not work. Its windy in the New England woods. Wish I didnt buy a newly released product.

I love the convenience of this. I can hook a number of different mics into it. It's really nice to be able to clip the body onto a groom super quick but the internal mic is okay. It's not the worst thing ever but it could be a lot better. The wireless range is good for about 50 feet or so. And then you get connection loss. For the price point it's really nice but if you're shooting weddings I would have a backup audio option. I can see this being really great for promo/interview videos.

I really liked the form factor. Worked fine for the first two weeks. I used for shooting vlogs. Liked the sound quality. started getting interference after that even with internal microphone. returning it.

I used it once, it worked. in the second, the transmitter does not charge the battery. and now?

I have two of these, and used them on about 29 different occasions in different locations, weather, mounting positions, etc. I absolutely could not escape having random dropouts 2-3 times per recording because I record for about 1-2 hours straight at a time. Absolutely unacceptable for me and it happens with both of them. Direct line of sight, dropouts within 10-15ft. Ridiculous.

Finally an affordable quality wireless system for creators. Before this the other options were around $750... works just like it says it would. Only drawback is if you're wearing a standard t shirt the mic can flip in your shirt ruining your audio. A simple solution to this is wearing a polo shirt and clip it to the buttoned area or just hook up a lav mic to the system (this is what I did).

I bought the Ride Wireless Go back in September and have loved it for the most part. The system worked great for me and felt very reliable. Until yesterday when I went to use them and the transmitter just will not turn on. I've tried a dozen different things and can not get it to work. Anyone else have this problem?

Replaced a more complicated wireless setup I had that included a bracket for the iPhone. This setup is very easy to use, has worked thus far without issue, no interference on the channel and good battery life. I use an iPhone, and let the receiver just hang from the lightning adaptor as it as extremely lightweight. Built in mic is adequate, and I've not noticed any difference between it and the (inexpensive) lapel mike I was using.

I recently switched to the Rode Wireless Go as my main audio recording device. I have always use a audio recorder and lav mic for my audio but to get this great audio straight to camera and cut down on post audio editing is essential. Excellent product for for the price.

I cannot get this system to work with my older HP laptop so haven't been able to use it. Super disappointing; however, I believe the issue is with my laptop and not the system itself since I know of other yoga instructors who have used it with great success (most using MAC products). I'm giving it 3 stars - I'm sure it would be 5 if I could actually do something with it other than look at it sitting on my coffee table.

But with that said, it leaves some things to be desired. When it was launched, it Revolutionized the way we think about capturing wireless audio. But being the first to the game meant there was going to be room in the future for improvements. Get version 2 over this one. Even DJI has a better option to consider. But this one might be a bit 'dated' to get now. But it don't mean its bad or cant be useful. I use mine almost all the time.

It is very small and light weights. Can transmit very far and have a great voice quality. It has a tough batter life. All of these with super great price and cheap. You need to get one of this no matter what.
