This little wireless lav setup is perfect for hooking to my iPhone for live streaming, or to my Sony a7ii for recorded videos. The range is far better than most 2.4ghz digital wireless lavs, but it is still a Line of Sight kind of thing. I simply ask the presenter puts the transmitter in their front pocket (if I'm plugging in a mic) and we're good to go. No regrets, I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

I love the fact that these have a mic built right on to it. The only practical downside is that its too heavy for a standard t-shirt and will hang down. Its also a little bulky if trying to clip it to light clothing. It works best on button ups, collared shirts, jackets, ties... etc. If you pair this system up with a lav, you have such a portable wireless system its practically unbeatable with the current competition for run & gun filmmaking.

Right out of the box, I noticed the Transmitter to be fully charged and the Receiver was in the red and almost dead. I hooked it up to run the test anyways and everything was good. So I decided I'd charge the receiver and put it away for my next wedding. Well I just turned it on and the receiver is still in the red after being charged for nearly 3 hours. I have a wedding tomorrow..

I really liked the form factor. Worked fine for the first two weeks. I used for shooting vlogs. Liked the sound quality. started getting interference after that even with internal microphone. returning it.

I would have given this 5 stars if the microphone was just a little smaller. However, this has made a huge difference in teaching my virtual yoga classes. I don't have to raise my voice to be heard from far away, I can speak calmly and softly and still be heard with clarity and high quality. It is a game changer and really perfect for my needs. Thanks RODE and B&H!

I am thrilled with this new purchase. The receivers transmit more than far enough to work for anything I need for filming. The sound is very. clear and the attached lav mic is also high quality. I will be purchasing more in the future. I had a cheaper Saramonic system in the past that never worked properly. This well worth the price. No brainer. I. love. this product and company.

In a world when content is king, we don't want to be technicians. This mic pack fixes that. Use a lav with it though because the square hanging on a shirt doesn't look good. Also the wind screen is useless because it doesn't stay on. Bring rubber bands. Quality is fantastic. Just a little quirk with the windscreen.

This is the best Lav mic I have used. Whether using the Transmitter alone clipped to a shirt, or plugging a lav into the transmitter, it comes through with great sound. I also placed the transmitter inside a beehive while filming bees on the entrance board, which made for great audio. We plan to buy more of these as we need more mics.

I picked one of these up for solo work and I am a filmmaker for a career. I use Sennheisers for films, however these are a strong alternative, being able to plug in your own Lav if you want better quality. Pair these with a Countryman and you have a Lav System just as good as a Sennheiser set, lower profile and 1/3 of the price

I use my GoPro for personal and professional work. My boys are budding YouTubers who love making videos and this wireless setup works and sounds great. I also am a surgeon and need a hands-free solution to control by GoPro but the voice control isn't very good from inside a mask. This system fits the bill (and can't use the remote either). Very small, light and rechargeable batteries make this an ideal solution. I tried just the clip on unit but the add-on lavalle mike works best.

This mic setup is the easiest thing to use. You can also hide it really easy if you need to have an action or running scene where audio is harder to capture. I love the level adjustments right at my fingertips for easy fixes. So simple when having the 2 person setup!

First Rode promised to sent new ones. Then they emailed me saying they will send knew ones. Then I got an email saying they dont have any. The problem really is the design is defective so unless they redesign them replacements will not work. Its windy in the New England woods. Wish I didnt buy a newly released product.

It is very small and light weights. Can transmit very far and have a great voice quality. It has a tough batter life. All of these with super great price and cheap. You need to get one of this no matter what.

Replaced a more complicated wireless setup I had that included a bracket for the iPhone. This setup is very easy to use, has worked thus far without issue, no interference on the channel and good battery life. I use an iPhone, and let the receiver just hang from the lightning adaptor as it as extremely lightweight. Built in mic is adequate, and I've not noticed any difference between it and the (inexpensive) lapel mike I was using.

I use this for interviews and it works great. I just clip it to the lapel of my subject and the receiver gets piped into my mixer. I'm not super picky, so your mileage may vary, but I think the vocal audio quality is excellent. I wish the blue LEDs could be turned off so it was a little less conspicuous, but so far I've been able to obscure them well enough.

I am no professional audio engineer so its especially nice how easily it is to use this system. Theres basically no setup at all other than getting it charged. Ive used it outdoors in windy conditions with the included wind muffs and they were effective. You do have to be careful not to pop them off - they dont seem to be all that secure. All-in-all, this is perfect for many uses and for the price its amazing. The sound quality is all I need and its probably all you need as well.

I love the convenience of this. I can hook a number of different mics into it. It's really nice to be able to clip the body onto a groom super quick but the internal mic is okay. It's not the worst thing ever but it could be a lot better. The wireless range is good for about 50 feet or so. And then you get connection loss. For the price point it's really nice but if you're shooting weddings I would have a backup audio option. I can see this being really great for promo/interview videos.

I bought the Ride Wireless Go back in September and have loved it for the most part. The system worked great for me and felt very reliable. Until yesterday when I went to use them and the transmitter just will not turn on. I've tried a dozen different things and can not get it to work. Anyone else have this problem?
