This mic is super easy to use out of the box and has great audio quality. Small and light. Its internal battery lasted me about 5 hours. Two negatives otherwise I give it 5 stars: 1. Tx and Rx must have line of sight to work. I use it for sports activities, hence, when the Tx is not in line of sight to the rx on the camera, signal dropped. Rode should advertise that Tx and Rx must have line of sight on their specs sheets. 2. The mic dead cat has poor mounting. It falls off easily from the Tx especially for my applications. ... More

They are tiny and sound great. The receiver screen gives you all the info you need. Transmission distance is WAY more than you need for what these are designed for. It has a strong radio. Battery life is very good and USB-C charging/running on both devices is a great addition. I only wish there was a -3db, -6db, -9db pad on the transmitter. However, the pre set gain amount is OK unless you have it recording a pretty loud source. Human voice can clip the mic if you yell loudly into the mic. Aside from that, generally speaking, these are crazy good. Buying a second set very soon. ... More

We were using a RODE microphone attached to a Galaxy 10+ smartphone for livestreaming Sunday church services. On the livestream, audio was barely acceptable if person was closer to the camera and worthless when further away. We knew that we had to tie into the church's audio system but didn't want to run a cable down the aisle. Happened on the the Rode Wireless Go system and audio is 1000% better. After the switch people watching the livestream called me to ask what we changed. 5 Stars!

I bought this to replace a wired lapel mic for use in my wood workshop video making. The wired mic was just too hard to use moving around the shop, but the Rode makes it easy to go anywhere and get great sound. I use the built in mic and it sounds at least as good in my videos as the wired lapel mike. I'm still on the original battery charge after a week or so of on and off use. The mic does look a little bulky on my shirt, but I'm making wood shop videos where fashion doesn't count for anything. ... More

This product is amazing. This literally levels the playing field. This allows the average blogger to have an easy to use, reliable, effective system to produce above average audio quality right out of the box. Given the size of the two devices that make up the Wireless GO, I kept my expectations on a reasonable level. However, after multiple tests, including using the GO system with a Rode VideoMic Pro+ as a boom mic, I have to say I am very impressed. I found myself using very basic noise reduction at default settings to get the end result I wanted. In indoor use, I found the audio was even cleaner. Suffice it to say, I think this is a great investment especially for indie film makers and for run and gun situations.

The only thing Im upset about is not buying this sooner. I bought boom mics, different podcast mics and would have saved a lot of money had I found this sooner. This is the best solution I have for regular podcast in and outdoor. You can use it straight with the mic on the transmitter is just a little uncomfortable for me like that, specially for videos longer than 10 minutes. We do use it like that when is a quick announcement video and the sound quality is amazing, but for podcast recording I recommend you use it with the Rode lav and is a win win combination. ... More

Have had a chance to use this microphone for two events and it seems like the perfect tool. The design is compact and easy to use and the sound is clear. I'm actually extremely pleased with this item and feel that it will revolutionize my ability to vlog or film any type of speaker. My only comment is that the on-off switches are a little hard to access and at one event I lost seconds of audio multiple times because the speaker started speaking several times while I was fiddling around trying to access the switch on the receiver.

Product came quicker than expected and has been very helpful in our online worship as well as call in broadcast with sound clarity. Helps background noise and also clarity of speaker. We are exceedingly happy with this product! However, I do wish there an option switch to bypass the Rode mic during song time. This would enable to wearer to sing along but also to participate in conversation before the service without it being broadcast online.

This mic setup is the easiest thing to use. You can also hide it really easy if you need to have an action or running scene where audio is harder to capture. I love the level adjustments right at my fingertips for easy fixes. So simple when having the 2 person setup!

I recently switched to the Rode Wireless Go as my main audio recording device. I have always use a audio recorder and lav mic for my audio but to get this great audio straight to camera and cut down on post audio editing is essential. Excellent product for for the price.

I bought the Ride Wireless Go back in September and have loved it for the most part. The system worked great for me and felt very reliable. Until yesterday when I went to use them and the transmitter just will not turn on. I've tried a dozen different things and can not get it to work. Anyone else have this problem?

If there not in line of sight you may loose signal at only 2-3 meters (9feet). And experienced that if you operate with 2 sets within 1 meter they interfere. So this is not usable for professional use where your talent can move freely. I hoped it worked magic because it's very promising with build in battery and the size is exceptional. But the one thing it should do.......

It's super easy to setup. The clip seem to have good build quality and it easily fits on cloths and on the hot shoe of my camera. I like how you can see the sound readings on the screen. It charges with USB-C and the battery life is fantastic. You'll easily get 5-6 hours (In my experience its closer to 6 hours) I don't use an external lav mic because the Rode microphone works well enough for me.

First Rode promised to sent new ones. Then they emailed me saying they will send knew ones. Then I got an email saying they dont have any. The problem really is the design is defective so unless they redesign them replacements will not work. Its windy in the New England woods. Wish I didnt buy a newly released product.

This is the best Lav mic I have used. Whether using the Transmitter alone clipped to a shirt, or plugging a lav into the transmitter, it comes through with great sound. I also placed the transmitter inside a beehive while filming bees on the entrance board, which made for great audio. We plan to buy more of these as we need more mics.

Finally an affordable quality wireless system for creators. Before this the other options were around $750... works just like it says it would. Only drawback is if you're wearing a standard t shirt the mic can flip in your shirt ruining your audio. A simple solution to this is wearing a polo shirt and clip it to the buttoned area or just hook up a lav mic to the system (this is what I did).
