I've been doing video production for 20+ years. If you need 2 mono channels of audio recorded to your camera this is perfect. We've been using a separate recorder connected via XLR for years and used other wireless units which all worked well, but the Rode GOII has been slick. Its been extremely simply to manage and the quality has been perfect for dialogue. I haven't used it for anything else, but for dialogue its been worry free for us. Nice, purpose built product. Rick

I set these up to charge over night before a shoot. They were brand new out of the box. I saw a blue light appear when I hooked them up with the cable that was provided. I went to my shoot the next day and all three units failed to turn on. I've been using the first generation of this product for awhile now and love it but this newer version seems to have issues.

Great Wireless system specially for DSLR / Mirrorless Shooter extremely light and reliable with great sound, I have been using and couldn't be happier. It's great also for use on a Gimble, since it is so small and lightweight will not compromise the overall weight. Recommend also buying the Rode Interview Go. It will be a good addition (I bought one) This Product should get an Award of Best Innovation Products

I bought the single transmitter without the lavalier mic, only because I didn't want to spend the extra money on the lavalier or the 2nd transmitter. Now I wish I had. They appear to be high quality and my remote Zoom attendees tell me that the sound quality is great. The gain control really helped me get the best sound quality. Another thing I liked was that it was very, very easy to find in-depth guides on YouTube for this popular product.

Arrived with no battery life and won't turn on, no matter how long I charge either the mic or receiver. That it doesn't come with a mobile device cable also is pretty lame. Ultimately, not usable. Rode's customer support says a 48 to 72 hour response time is expected which feels a bit ridiculous too.

Do you like spending hours charging lavs only to have them lose their charge before you can use them the next day? Do you like constantly having to re-pair your mics? Well, then these are for you. Good sound when you can get them to work, but you're rolling the dice. Absolute waste of time and money.

About the only negative I have so far is that they can't take AA batteries. The batteries themselves last for several hours and the meter on the receiver keeps you aware of the battery levels but when they die you have to charge them and either have a backup ready or just wait. Otherwise the slim profile is fantastic. I can actually mic 2 people for my DSLR setup with one receiver, and for the money it really can't be beat.

Got 2 set of these, same issue with both. The interference noise is so bad that it almost cover the audio I'm recording. No matter how close or far the TX and RX are, or what environment I'm in. I even went in the woods without any cell phone or other electronic device on me and It really seem to come from the Rode system. I tried with different wires, mics, recorders. The size and weight is what appealed to me but the interference is just very audible.

Two-head interview with a single receiver going in L/R, what more can you say. This kit has so many perks and advantages over the old Senn G3, I'm not sure what kind of argument you can make for not buying a couple of these. Im still looking for someone to tell me why I should stick with the G3. Like the Senn mics better? Fine, plug them into the GO II. There's just no reason this isn't the new way to go from now on.

As a journalist, I do a lot of two personal interviews and often need to record video without a camera operator. This set-up, with the optional Lightning cable, plugs directly into an iPhone and works perfectly. Also works well with small audio recorders. The recording capability of the transmitters gives an extra level of security. Rode did an excellent job designing this system and I highly recommend it.

I have the original and now the wireless go twos. They've basically improved everything I didn't like about the originals. I love that you can have more control in the app and record audio into the units and you only need one receiver. One of my favorite features now is that you can dim the LEDs. I also think the buttons are better and more clicky so training all of the units is easier. Well worth the price.

Hello I was looking for a good quality set of wireless lav mics. I looked at many videos and read i don't know many customers reviews on different companies. So after doing some homework I went with the rode go 2 wireless lav and the audio I get is great quality. I'm a beginner so of course I looked at the price like wow kind of pricey. I'm now here writing a review so yes I brought and they are worth every penny spent.

We used these for a wedding and they worked better than expected. They're so small that the bride & groom didn't hesitate to wear them. We didn't use the lavaliers and the sound quality was on point. The mic's were hidden, so I was a little concerned about it being muffled. No problem, sound came through nice and clear. Even the pastors voice was clear. The wedding was outside and very little ambient noise. Definitely would purchase again.

I love all of the concepts of this on paper, but; 1. It says up to 32 bit float recording, but the unit only records at 24-bit. You can output from the Rode Central app at 32 bit float. 2. I own two of these units, and transmitters from one set crossed with receiver from another. This created unusable audio on the camera side. The internal audio was usable, but had clicks and other noise artifacts that were difficult to amend. Hopefully these issues will be fixed in firmware updates.

I watched several YouTube reviews on these and decided to try them out. They were so easy to set up and adjust. I connected them to my Fujifilm XT4 and my OnePlus 7 Pro. The wind muffs are very secure. The reviews stated that was not the case with the previous version. It's very easy to adjust the levels on these. I purchased these to replace my Rode Video Mic Pro. The Mic Pro works great but wanted a smaller form factor.

Perfect for interviewing one on one, volume and clarity is amazing. Quality of audio picks up a lot of details specially when on the go. Gave four stars because Rode apps were recently updated and have some kinks to iron out. And also figuring out cable, extra dongles to connect to iphone and ear piece gets very tricky.

So far, my favorite piece of gear I've purchased this year. Lately, I use these primarily for live streaming my company's appearance at virtual events and tradeshows, and these have been a treat. Set to -30db and plugged into an ATEM Mini Pro, I haven't had any peaking issues, or buzzing that other solutions have presented, and the audio sounds great. Would it be great to have a proper line out? Yes. Can you manage without it? Absolutrly.

I have been a hobbyist videographer for a long time, but recently I have been wanting to increase the quality of my videos. This system gives me a lot of flexibility and expands my options for using my old Rode video mic. Works great with a lav mic too, even though the mic on the transmitter is good enough to go without the lav. Overall this kit offers great value and will greatly improve the production quality of your video or audio work.

I do a lot of run-and-gun style videography, and these fit in flawlessly with my work flow. It was great being able to monitor the audio levels in the moment, and I loved having the two mics connect to the same receiver. The internal microphones are surprisingly crisp. I did plug in my own lav mics which also work well with this system. Overall I am very happy with my purchase, especially for the price.

I have had this system for two weeks now and it's everything I've ever wanted in a wireless setup and more. I feel like Rode really listened to their customers and delivered an affordable wireless mic system that is compatible with a variety of recording methods. The sound quality is crisp and clear and packs even more of a punch when you attach a lav to the transmitters.
