Great addition to the FDR-X3000 Action camera, screwed on underneath if you want to vlog with the camera. Unfortunately, this un-powered mics don't work with the C100. So check to make sure this works with your camera. Otherwise, great quality nicely made.

If you're still shooting with a DSLR or Mirrorless, this is a must have. The audio from this mic is way better than the built in mics for scratch audio. Also, depending what your shooting and how far you are from the sound, the audio can actually be usable.

Great microphone for camera at a good price. The body of the microphone is metallic. I recommend it to record audio for amateurs.

I also have the Rode Video Mic Pro. There is a little less low end in comparison but the overall sound quality is very similar. Love the phantom power and not having to worry about switching it off and on. Great mic and awesome B&H service as usual b

I got this mic for my canon t6i. The audio quality was ok, but very noisy in the background. I contacted RDE, and they told me to change my settings to manual audio, So I did. After playing around with the gain, the background hiss remained. I contacted RDE three more times and told them my situation, but they still gave me the same answer. The mic is still better than most on-board microphones.

This guy is awesome, don't judge by the size. This Mic is very lightweight, great looking, very inconspicuous, get the job done, the sound you get from this little guy is incredible. I use it with a Sony RX10-M2 and is a killer combo.

The ability to add the dead cat wind diffusion is this mic's best quality. Get one or two with a Rode SC7 and apple lighting adapter instead of the included cable. That's how it will work on your iPhone.

The video reviews and hype are 100% accurate. This hooked right up to the hotshoe on my Fuji XT2 and the difference in audio quality is amazing!! I cannot believe the price on this. Solid metal construction and includes dead cat in the box.

I am new to video. I purchased this to improve sound on my EOS R when recording friend's vlogging and for my nature/travel recordings. It's easy to use for someone with little experience. Sound quality is much improved by muting echos and wind noise.

I was juggling between this and the VideoMicGo. Of course this was cheaper and my initial concerns were that this would substitute the quality of my audio. Wrong! Daresay it's better than the video mic go. It's an amazing product and I'd advice you to buy this if you want something that's lightweight and good to use.

Such a small but powerful microphone, very very high quality. The best quality for the money you'll find. Can be taken apart and stored in a compact area. I'm using it with a Canon 5D Mark IV and love it.

This is a great compact video mic for your run and gun camera!!! The dead cat has cut virtually all the wind ive run into. I do alot of outdoor filming and i couldnt live without this mic!!! My audio quality has really improved since switching to this mic from the onboard mic in my camera!!!

I bought this to use with Filmic Pro on my phone, the difference between this and built in mics is night and day, very happy. Size is great, built quality feels great. Had to buy the Rode SC7 to connect but other than that no issues.

We do a lot of outdoor (fishing) videos, and the wind is always a pain. The included wind screen did an excellent job and the audio on the mic was surprisingly good. Easy 5 star product. And its reasonably priced.

I use this to record home videos (nothing fancy) but it's audio is amazing and the size is really compact. Feels very well built. Makes my videos shot on my Olympus em5 mark ii so much better than built in speakers

Mic may be small, but certainly makes a difference in audio quality. Doesn't work as well on smaller cameras or iPhones if using the windshield, however, as it may come into frame. Otherwise excellent product.

Starting to do video recording with my DSLR's and hated the sound quality of the in camera mics..Looked for an inexpensive replacement and saw a lot of good recommendations for this mic. Works SO much better than the camera's mic..Don't expect Dolby surround abilities but a definite improvement
