This microphone is fantastic for the price, I was considering other Rode microphone options that were several times more expensive but extremely happy with the sound from this guy. No need to charge extra batteries, just plug it in and go!

Youve probably heard it before, but this microphone is awesome! All metal, sounds great, included shock mount and dead-cat, and great brand all for 60 bucks! If you need a budget mic or just are looking for a backup, this is the mic for you!

I bought this microphone and attached it to my Osmo 3 gimbal to record Virtual Open Houses for my Real Estate business. I wanted to make sure that all my viewers could clearly hear what was being said about the home. It makes a huge difference! Great product!

If you are looking into getting this mic, it has the "dead cat" or wind blocker already. I made the mistake of buying a wind blocker as extra. Quality is amazing as well!

I haven't used it very much yet, but I've tested it out a little bit and I really like how well it picks up my voice so much better than my iPhone internal mic and how it also reduces ambient noise a lot better.

I own this video mic and the Rode NTG3. This is my go to vlog Mic and the price point makes it great choice. Audio is not prefect but thats why I do clean up in Audition. Super easy to use and awesomely compact!

If you're still shooting with a DSLR or Mirrorless, this is a must have. The audio from this mic is way better than the built in mics for scratch audio. Also, depending what your shooting and how far you are from the sound, the audio can actually be usable.

Well worth the price, this little mic performs like a champ and the windsock is more of a windbreaker than anything you owned in the 80s. The moon shaped plastic thing works like gangbusters to eliminate moving around noise. Just buy this one, You can afford it.

Rather getting cheap Chinese shotgun microphone. it is better to spend more and get the Rode Microphone. Good Audio Quality with the Wind Dead cat it is perfect to start with

I am new to video. I purchased this to improve sound on my EOS R when recording friend's vlogging and for my nature/travel recordings. It's easy to use for someone with little experience. Sound quality is much improved by muting echos and wind noise.

Works great with all of my cameras. I have only one complaint. This mic requires an additional cable to use with computers, phones, etc.

I bought this to use with Filmic Pro on my phone, the difference between this and built in mics is night and day, very happy. Size is great, built quality feels great. Had to buy the Rode SC7 to connect but other than that no issues.

This mini, on-camera version of the Rode shotgun mic line is great! Super easy to set up with my GoPro and it sounds great. I only with they would have included some kind of soft-case to store it in - so stuff-sack it is. Either way, I'm very happy with this little powerhouse.

I got this mic for my canon t6i. The audio quality was ok, but very noisy in the background. I contacted RDE, and they told me to change my settings to manual audio, So I did. After playing around with the gain, the background hiss remained. I contacted RDE three more times and told them my situation, but they still gave me the same answer. The mic is still better than most on-board microphones.

Great Compact Mic with good sounds quality and easy mobility. The mic does a great job at picking up close audio and the dead cat is good for canceling out wind noise. As always B&H was fast to get my order delivered to me on time and well packaged!

I use the Rode VideoMicro with a Sony A6600. Sound is great once I reduce recording level on camera to about six. The wind shield works great. Portable and no need to worry about batteries, powered by camera.

This is a great compact video mic for your run and gun camera!!! The dead cat has cut virtually all the wind ive run into. I do alot of outdoor filming and i couldnt live without this mic!!! My audio quality has really improved since switching to this mic from the onboard mic in my camera!!!

I got this mic in order to get a modest improvement over the one built into my laptop. My setup is indoors in a quiet room. I have not tried it under more stressful conditions, but the Rode VideoMicro is great for my needs.
