When I first opened the box to the Rode VideMicro I was blown away by the physical size, I had a rode Video Mic before and sometimes when using a wide angle lens you could see the wind screen in the shots. Bottom line: its amazing for the price! You get a wind screen for it and you can mount it just about anywhere! Try one out today!

Great price! super small! Really catches the vocals and eliminates unnecessary reverb or room haas effect characteristics and just let the vocals (or whatever you are recording) be the only thing you hear.

I own four of these and I use them on every piece of run & run gear I have. GH4, GH5, Osmo, and all my location audio equipment. Sound is half the picture What a difference good sound makes to your story telling. The product build and quality is great. No battery is required. Comes with shock mount and wind screen.

I love this little microphone. It does a great job of picking up sound in front of it and minimizing sounds beside and behind. I plug it into my iPhone (using an additional adaptor) and the audio in my video recordings or livestreams is much better.

This mic sounds great and is the perfect size for my Sony a6300. Very well built and easy to use. It is everything I was expecting.

The microphone is of good quality. It picks up sound much clearer and does not embed noise from focus change during recording. Have not tried in a windy environment yet. With that hairy windshield, it will be a good test. The only thing I would prefer is the mount and cable color. Black is better, my personal opinion. Love it so far.

I got this mic for my canon t6i. The audio quality was ok, but very noisy in the background. I contacted RDE, and they told me to change my settings to manual audio, So I did. After playing around with the gain, the background hiss remained. I contacted RDE three more times and told them my situation, but they still gave me the same answer. The mic is still better than most on-board microphones.

Great microphone for camera at a good price. The body of the microphone is metallic. I recommend it to record audio for amateurs.

If you're still shooting with a DSLR or Mirrorless, this is a must have. The audio from this mic is way better than the built in mics for scratch audio. Also, depending what your shooting and how far you are from the sound, the audio can actually be usable.

This shotgun mic has been the savior with so many of our productions. We have had to use it as the main mic for impromptu interviews, and alway use it on the second camera when we do cut-a-ways. My brother is so impressed with it that he borrows it all the time to use on his Nikon DSLR.

... but the mount bends back and the cord is very stiff. Maybe in time it will stretch out and not make it so difficult to point the microphone where I want to. Sound quality is a good step up from my camera's (Fujifilm X100V) built-in mics.

I use this for my YouTube channel and daily blogs and it works very well and is very versatile as well as easy for travel due to its size. I wish the sound quality was a little better or that it had a larger range of hearing but all around great product especially for the price

I looked at several microphones to use with my Canon 6D MII and settled on this one based on the use I would expect. The microphone fits very well and will do an excellent job for me.

I also have the Rode Video Mic Pro. There is a little less low end in comparison but the overall sound quality is very similar. Love the phantom power and not having to worry about switching it off and on. Great mic and awesome B&H service as usual b

Huge difference from the internal camera microphone! I have a Sony a7R ii and this microphone makes all the difference in picking up sound. Love the size of this mic too as it isn't too distracting. Would definitely recommend!

It does what it's supposed to for its price. I use it mainly to make sure my camera will pick up decent audio in case of technical difficulties with other sources of audio. It's small, compact, and well built.

Has a nice tone too it, not sibilant which is great! Really does great job rejecting background noise, and with the dead cat it makes outdoor recordings sound super quiet. Great buy for phones and cameras.

This guy is awesome, don't judge by the size. This Mic is very lightweight, great looking, very inconspicuous, get the job done, the sound you get from this little guy is incredible. I use it with a Sony RX10-M2 and is a killer combo.
