Great price, well designed big improvement from built in camera mic. A great enhancement would be a dedicated case.

This is a great microphone! I got lucky enough to also get it with the boom pole. Attached nicely to my dslr rig, and the cable cord sits tight and never gets in front of the lenses

I use this mic with my 60D to film skateboarding and so far it's great. It's very sensitive to any contact as expected, and to wind as well. I've since bought a windjammer to minimize noise.

I bought the bundle package and it cheap! I use with a zoom H1 and the sound is perfect for this level. I love that it is directional unlike the H1 So it doesn't pick up background noise

We used this mic for a short Film Noir film we just finished. Sound was great, very low (if any) noise. Fit on our boom pole which made it that much more useful.

Great for DSLRs. I use it to capture Nat sound when shooting B-roll. Can be a bit noisy. Definitely better than built in stereo mic.

The will do a better job then any onboard microphone on most video cameras. As for a shotgun mic its not very good because it tends to pick up the surrounding sound.

This mic works great on my Sony VX-2000. Because it plugs in an 1/8 inch jack it makes it great so i don't have to lug around an XLR adapter.
