I use the VideoMic on my Canon T3I and it's been wonderful! You can shoot inside or outside and it has good range while not picking up too much side noise. Great product!

I use this on my Sony A57 so I had to purchase a pricey adapter. The quality of the audio sounds fairly decent in contrast to the on board microphone on my DSLR. On my Sony DSLR, there are no audio settings so sometimes the audio seems to loud. I'm not sure how to fix this. Would recommend!

Don't forget to make sure whatever you're plugging the mic into has the ability to power the mic, it doesn't have it's own power. Once you get it working, it's great!

I used this on my t2i while filming at a convention this past weekend. Well worth the money for a real microphone vs the inadequate built in one. Helps reduce background noise from overpowering what you want to hear, no background hiss like the stock mic. Plug it in and go.

Much much better than the built in mic on camera. Doesn't need dedicated batteries and is truly plug and play. Nice audio and good low end coverage. Perfect for the family man to get more audio to the family photos.

It needs a windscreen but otherwise we have gotten great sound from it! We work with little children all the time and they don't speak up so this captures those quiet voices as well as all the loud noises we need for our projects!

This shotgun isn't the best mic in the world, but it is a definite upgrade over the on-camera mic on many cameras, especially when scratch audio is needed. Definitely a purchase if another mic is not available to get that scratch audio.

Product is better than the built in mic. It is very directional for sure and sensitive, it still picks up the camera noise of adjustment but only when it is quite audio like nature. Over all great and way better than the camera mic

Using this with a Lumix GH3. Initial test in my studio produced very good results. Also tested with a band playing at an outdoor event and got better than expected quality.

I've tried cheaper shotgun mics and the audio was useless. I decided to cop the $100 and man I'm glad I did!

I use this mic on top of my T3i and it does a great job of picking up the audio I need. I can be standing in front of the camera, 30ft away, and it will pick up a clear, crisp recording of my voice. It does feel a bit cheap, but I'm rather certain that's because it doesn't weigh anything.

I have used the product for a couple of interviews. It worked well. This is my first time getting into the video side and am in the learning curve.

The product is great for what it's made for. It improves the sound quality immensely which is fantastic. It is extremely light weight and doesn't effect the weight of the camera in my experience.

Works perfectly with my Pentax K1 & K5. It stops wind noise and is a big step up from the in-camera mic

I love how simple and easy this mic is to use with my Canon Rebel T5i. You just slip it in the hot shoe, twist, and plugin the cord and you're good to go.

I really like the audio quality that the mic produces. It doesn't hiss much, and sounds banging like a biscuit! Every dime worth if you're looking for some good to GO mic.
