The product is great and works with my iMac and Laptop. While it does work with other iOS devices via the lightning to USB adapter from Apple, it DOES NOT work with the iPad Pro USB-C based. Tried different adapters and opened a case with Rode but they left me out without a solution. The iPad Pro recognizes the Microphone as an output device as you hear the iPad audio on any app via the microphone monitor headphone. I am sure this is a software issue that Rode should invest more time in resolving,

This is my first USB mic, so not much to compare it to, but the results are really great. I used it to do some video voiceovers and it was perfect. Clever onboard dials for headphone volume and a fader between mic input and compute output. Plan to use it for recording instruments as well. I can see it thriving with acoustic guitar, of course vocals, I will even try drums. Stellar look and feel with matte black finish, carrying case included, and I bought it when the K77 headphones were offered free with purchase. Rode does it right!

This is used for voice over recording. I like how it feels like a more expensive quality microphone. There is not much to say as I am just barely using it and testing it out. A bonus is that it comes with a pop filter. I would give it five stars, but I have not used touch yet.

This thing is much better than it has any right to be at its price. It sounds great and Rode Connect is simple but great. The noise gate and compressor sound great, Big Bottom adds a nice bit of bottom end without being ridiculous. The Exciter does add some sibilance, but also air, so it's still worthwhile with a bit of de-esser added afterwards. The included base kind of pointless, but I put it on that small folding desktop mic stand from Auray, and that works very well. Great product, very happy!

For the first time, I pulled the NT-USB Mini out of its box and plugged it into my iMac. Immediately it registered in all of my audio apps. It has been easy to use. Listeners on the other end report that my voice is very clear. I made some test voice recordings. They compare the use of the built in mic to the NT-USB Mini. I was surprised to hear how similar the two recordings appeared to be. However, I learned that the closer to the mic I speak from, the is better. For that purpose, the NT-USB Mini is better suited. ... More

I bought this microphone to use with a Mac Pro running Mac OS X High Sierra. Setup was a breeze. Just plugged it in and was able to adjust it in System Preferences. It works flawlessly with Skype and browser-based calls and the people I talk to noticed a difference right away in terms of quality. The USB cord is the perfect length. As others have mentioned, the stand isn't the greatest - I've accidentally knocked the microphone over a couple of times. Overall, it's a solid microphone for the price.

I purchased this mic with the express purpose of using it through the RDE Connect software. And while this is a quick and easy / inexpensive solution, I am experiencing a few annoyances: 1) With the correct recording / gain level set, the RDE Connect's noise gate closes prematurely ruining the audio. Without the noise gate, the noise floor is too high. 2) I've yet to get a recording more than a few minutes without occasional random digital spikes. Note: I'm using a Mac M1 with the RDE SC17 high-quality USB-C to USB-C cable.

Not long ago, I purchased an Audio-Technica AT2020USB+ microphone from B & H for use in recording voice-over narrative directly to the Adobe Premier Pro timeline. I used it, but the quality of the resulting recording was just awful. So, I tried again and purchased a Rode NT-USB Versatile Studio-Quality USB Microphone. I tried it and the resulting recording sounded great after I boosted the gain.

I've had one of these microphones for a while. I used it for Zoom and phone calls on my Mac Book. In addition, I've used it for an audio voice project that is currently in progress. I purchased a second mic to allow for an easy to transport and use mobile recording setup using Rode Connect. Very pleased with the outcome of that setup. The sound quality of these mics is very good and paired with Ride Connect requires no post processing. I do make changes in post but only to apply a vocal profile. If you are in the market for a great USB mic, you can't go wrong here. ... More

Great USB mic. Very good quality sound. I have used it to record alto saxophone & flute, and it does a very good job capturing the sound of these horns. Great buy for the price range. Good back-up mic, and a good travel mic when you don't want to bring an interface.

What can I say? It's a RODE! I have the old Rode NT-USB microphone, which it's my main mic for my computer, but since that is not compatible with the new Rode Connect software, and I wanted to have an easy and affordable solution to use all my audio on OBS (using the new software created by Rode), I decided to buy this little giant! And boy-oh-boy! What an amazing product! IT is small, it is heavy, it is elegant, it is versatile. The magnet holds the mic upside down! The sound, excellent! -

I was doubting the quality of audio from this small mic, but after using it again and again for the last few weeks, I have absolutely no complaints. This mic is built incredibly solid, has a very low noise floor, and I appreciate the headphone input/monitoring capabilities. Make no mistake, this IS NOT a replacement for the Shure SM7B, but it still has its place in the lineup! And for the price, it's really hard to beat!

I ordered this Rode mini NT-USB mini mic to use with voiceover classes and gigs. People had recommended the Rode NT-USB and B&H had a special price for the new mini mic that was being tried out. So far, the feedback from my auditions and coaches have been positive. It's a heavy, solid mic, and very easy to operate. I do wish, however, these manufacturers still included a full paper manual, but I know, I can dowload it from the internet. But great mic!

I am running religious services from my office, and needed a solution to the lousy sound I was getting using my Behringer interface for vocals and guitar. This is it! Totally happy with the purchase, the price was right (hey, good name for a game show?) and just plug in and use. What could be easier?

I am an educator, and bought this in response to student feedback; we wish more lecturers would use better microphones for online classes. Listening to recordings of presentations and comparing with when I was using the webcam mic, this Rode mic is a clear improvement. Setup is super easy - plug-n-play. The desktop base is reassuringly heavy and solid. It sits about 12-18-inches from my face and picks up my voice perfectly.

I use this microphone with my 2010 Mac Pro. Connection and setup was easy...literally just plug-and-play. On Skype calls, other people commented on the change in sound quality (for the better). It's also great for recording voiceovers. The only flaw is the included stand, as others have mentioned. It's very easy to knock the microphone over. It'd be ideal to get a sturdier stand if you can afford it.

Small USB mic with very good sound quality. Solidly built and small enough to throw in your bag to take along with your laptop. Only downside is I wish the included stand was taller to to get mic closer to your mouth. Love the magnetic attachment. Rode should put out a a taller accessory stand to for this little powerhouse.

I was pretty amazed at how the rich the sound was coming in when I first tested it out in the closet. I record lines for a story-driven Youtube cartoon series, and compared to the Zoom H2n which I was using before, this mic is a world of difference. I couldn't be happier with the purchase and I don't think I'll be needing a better mic at any point for what I do, even if my channel does become successful and I'm no longer broke haha.

This is a good microphone. My husband uses it for online music lessons. He plays trumpet and the mic does a good job of handling the volume. The only thing that was problematic is that the mic would not work on either laptop we use. I called Rode and they said they had never received any other complaints about this. I know from personal experience that some computers have some difficulty with powering some USB devices. We bought a powered hub- also from B&H- and it works like a charm.
