Some hissing to be removed at editing but otherwise a great way to bring the mic closer at a very low cost. Still GREAT quality. Positioning is really important to achieve the highest quality otherwise it captures a lot of ambiant sounds. Very sensible (but not so for wind and clothing). GREAT buy! So useful and unexpensive it deserves 5 stars despite the little cons..

I teach a TV Production course. These mics were a great price and deliver a good quality. The length is a bit long but it is easy to keep the cord rolled up and out of the way. We have used them for two weeks now and there have been no problems.

I've used this mic for interviews and tech lectures. It really easy to use, just plug in turn the power on and you're set. My only problem is that it can pick up a lot of background noise so be mindful of where you're recording. Also don't place the mic to close if you're a loud talker.

I use this with my Zoom H4N and Canon 70D. The sound quality is, in my opinion, excellent for what I will be using it for - corporate video and interviews.

I use these with a Tascam DR-40 for recording interview audio for my HDSLR video. They were nice and cheap and produce a pretty good sound, but I'm concerned with how fast the small hearing-aid batteries will last.

I am able to film my puppets and clip the microphone on my shirt for hands free recording. The mic itself is well made and picks up my voice really well without any background noise. I like this mic and would purchase another one. I can't think of anything bad about this mic. It works as it should. Thanks B and H !!!

The OLM-10 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone met his perfect match: Zoom H1 Recorder. The OLM-10 use a small battery, I'm not sure how long this battery life will be so always I have extra batteries just in case. Also I use headphones to control the levels and the quality is great. It was a success on my last two weddings with the Groom and the Preacher.

Inexpensive wired lav mic. It has an extra long cord which can be useful and sometimes a nuisance. I band up a section of the cord which makes it easier to use, unless I need the extra length. It will not compete with a high end lav. However the sound is quite good and will be a plus for low budget productions and interviews. You can't beat the price

This is the same lavaliere mic sold by @for years. We've used these mics for 9 years and have had excellent results for such a low priced item. The audio quality is better than other mics that cost considerably more.At this price it's a no brainer.

In a bind, i needed two lav mics for a job, so i grabbed one of these, and i must say it was great. Its not everyday one can say a minijack mic sounds good, but this little guy does. It has a quite long cable, and it records a very clear signal. the switch housing is a bit plastic-y for my taste but the sound quality on a minijack mic, for the price. can't complain...

Used this product for basic one-on-one interviews; I am a very inexperienced filmmaker but this product is simple to use. Just plug and go! Sound quality is strong and clear. Even comes with batteries, which is very helpful. This is not a wireless mic, which is slightly inconvenient but all the same the wire is so long that it can be hidden.

Great buy to get better sound quality than your built-in mic. This littel inexpensive mic is good for recording interviews, cable is long enough to be away from subject and use 50mm or 70mm lens, even with a 1.6 crop sensor camera I think is ideal for beginners because the price wont break your bank and you can start doing interviews in a more professional way.

It got the job done, and I only needed them for a one-time use. But, for pro audio setups, I don't really recommend this mic. There is considerable line noise associated with this mic. That said, it may simply be the one I purchased is flawed, but that's my experience.

I bought 2 of these for my 11 year old Daughter's AV class. They were using a stick mic on a table for two talents to talk and you could barely hear them. I donated these and they sound so much better. People have commented that we can hear the announcements now. So far the kids have not broke them yet so they are very durable.

My husband has a Podcast in which he does commentary on various subjects, one of which is our travels to numerous Antique Shops around our area and other favorite locations he and I enjoy and call our 'simple pleasures of life'. We use the microphones to record our conversations as we describe all the things that we love and enjoy.

Good for a direct hook-up to a camcorder for audio capture of interviews, etc., but the cord is too long for our uses. I find it easier to have a lav mic with a short 6 cord, then use a 10' extension. It makes the cable issue more manageable than having a full 20' cord that tends to get in the way.

We use this for interviews for community television. It has a long cable and does the job. It is a bit fragile and you need to remember to turn off the battery after use. Not the perfect mic. or most professional, but does the job we need and the price is great. Would be great for doing home interviews of family members as well. Handle with care and you should be good to go. Buy several.

If you are a low budget filmmaker/videographer and want to improve your audio quality, this is a no-brainer. This is probably the highest production value per dollar you will find anywhere.I highly recommend this item.My philosophy on microphones: For the most part, a well placed $25 mic will always sound better than a poorly placed $800 mic.

I'm capturing audio separately to a recording device and sync with the audio track from a consumer camcorder that doesn't record audio well.I'm blown away with the quality of this mic. for the price. I have 2 other much more expensive lapel mics. ($ each.) and this performs as well or BETTER than they do!

I bought this to use with iPad and iPod Touch video, along with a small adapter. It's incredible! Works perfectly! I can hardly wait to hook it up to a few other cameras. The sound is loud and clear, with very little noise. I also could not find another mic like this with both quality AND a long cable at anywhere near this price range.
