Good quality for how cheap it is. It's got a pretty long cable which can be both good or bad. It's hard to remember to turn it off though because the switch is small. I use this with a pocket video camera to vlog with and it would be perfect is the cable was shorter. It's still pretty good and I just have it coiled with a cable holder to make it easy to manage.

We use this for interviews for community television. It has a long cable and does the job. It is a bit fragile and you need to remember to turn off the battery after use. Not the perfect mic. or most professional, but does the job we need and the price is great. Would be great for doing home interviews of family members as well. Handle with care and you should be good to go. Buy several.

Looked at other more costly possibilities, this is fine for a lavalier, batteries are affordable (10-$2.19 on the net), audio was very clean on headphones, stereo output. Cable was very long, clip is appropriate on the small size. Came with a stereo 1/4 adapter. To be used for weddings videos church readings, with Rode VXLR adapter, SKP 100 G3 trasmitter.

Recently purchased this mic to be able to plug directly into Canon T3i for recording video. Sound quality was very good. Tested it on camera's auto recording level setting and various manual settings of 25-50. Auto setting worked best, with readings in the -12db to -8db range. Meter reading on camera matched well with meter reading in FCX. Would highly recommend for a low-cost, good quality mic.

I'm not an audiophile, but I wanted some better voice recording than I was getting with just the camcorder, a Canon Vixia HF R500. This mic works nicely. I can record in the workshop without the usual echo-y sound, and I can record at my desk without picking up fan noise from the computers. For people like me who just want good 'nuff sound quality, this works great.

It got the job done, and I only needed them for a one-time use. But, for pro audio setups, I don't really recommend this mic. There is considerable line noise associated with this mic. That said, it may simply be the one I purchased is flawed, but that's my experience.

I am able to film my puppets and clip the microphone on my shirt for hands free recording. The mic itself is well made and picks up my voice really well without any background noise. I like this mic and would purchase another one. I can't think of anything bad about this mic. It works as it should. Thanks B and H !!!

I purchased this product for my camera so i could have better vocal audio to work with for interviews, and I was very impressed with the sound quality for such a good price. I would say that this microphone competes with far more expensive models of lav mics. Even if you are on a tight budget you can afford this product. I am very please with this purchase and plan on getting another one.

I teach a TV Production course. These mics were a great price and deliver a good quality. The length is a bit long but it is easy to keep the cord rolled up and out of the way. We have used them for two weeks now and there have been no problems.

In a bind, i needed two lav mics for a job, so i grabbed one of these, and i must say it was great. Its not everyday one can say a minijack mic sounds good, but this little guy does. It has a quite long cable, and it records a very clear signal. the switch housing is a bit plastic-y for my taste but the sound quality on a minijack mic, for the price. can't complain...

Great buy to get better sound quality than your built-in mic. This littel inexpensive mic is good for recording interviews, cable is long enough to be away from subject and use 50mm or 70mm lens, even with a 1.6 crop sensor camera I think is ideal for beginners because the price wont break your bank and you can start doing interviews in a more professional way.

It's the cheapest lavalier you can get, which is precisely why I got it. It's absolutely functional, but won't blow you away with quality by any means. I also have a Zoom H4N and am far more likely to use this over the lav, but if I can't get close enough to the subject without the recorder in the shot, I have this as a back up. It's cheap and gets the job done. If you want quality, keep looking.

Sometimes you just need good sound, quickly! This lavalier gets the job done and is a great product considering the price. The sound is clear and the line is long so you can record at a distance. I would recommend they offer some way to round up the line since it can get tangled easily. A retractable container for it would make it a perfect companion to my backup sound gear.

My husband has a Podcast in which he does commentary on various subjects, one of which is our travels to numerous Antique Shops around our area and other favorite locations he and I enjoy and call our 'simple pleasures of life'. We use the microphones to record our conversations as we describe all the things that we love and enjoy.

This is the same lavaliere mic sold by @for years. We've used these mics for 9 years and have had excellent results for such a low priced item. The audio quality is better than other mics that cost considerably more.At this price it's a no brainer.

I was curious about this mic as way to inexpensively capture better sound. I have a Canon 70D and I did a test to compare it to the internal camera mic, a sennheiser shotgun mic and the Polsen. The Polsen won hands down.

I use this with my Zoom H4N and Canon 70D. The sound quality is, in my opinion, excellent for what I will be using it for - corporate video and interviews.

I really like the sound I get with this lav mic, but the ONLY problem I have is that the battery keeps popping out! The battery door is weak and a lot of the time the battery pops out! I have to tape the battery door down so it can keep the battery in. I hope they fix this in the next remodel if there ever is one.

I got this lav for video, have used it a couple times with an H2 in outdoor and indoor environments for interviews (interviewee had H2 in her pocket). The sound was better than I expected, no noticeable ambient noise, voice clear. Have to boost levels in post but otherwise perfect so far.

I use the lav for documentary style interviews and it is excellent witha good clean sound that filters out most ambient side noise, keeping the interview pleasantly audible the cable is long but I look at that as an advantage; good battery life and the sound as far as I am concerned is pro quality
