I used this product during a market research interview. The two subjects came through loud and clear. There is a long chord attached, so if you are looking for wireless, this isn't it. If you are looking for good sound without spending a fortune, you should try these. I do have one warning. I bought 2 of these, and one had a short in the chord right out of the package. I'm glad I had the spare, as I didn't have time to exchange them.

I purchased the Polsen OLM-10 microphone for use with our Mevo Start streaming camera for use with our church services. We used it for our Sunday School class about 1 hour and then our church service about 1.5 hours. The microphone died on us twice during our pastor's sermon even with a new battery which we had to replace weekly. We had to discontinue using it and use the Mevo Start internal microphone which is working good for us.

I've been looking for an economical Lavalier microphone for a while now. I rarely do video work, and when I do it's mostly closeup interview stuff, so this fit the bill perfectly. I've only used the microphone once so far, and it worked just peachy! My only complaints are that the battery compartment was a bit tricky to get open, and the little tiny microphone afro wind screen fell off and got lost the first time I used it. But that's just me nit picking - it's a good product.

It actually has less line noise than my XLR lavalier mic despite the fact that it's got a thin 20 foot cable that probably isn't balanced like XLR mic cables. I just wish it had a cardiod pick-up pattern instead of an omni since my reason for using a lavalier is to eliminate ambient sounds from interview audio. But it's an affordable solution and is good to have on hand as a back-up mic or a primary mic for quick set-ups.

To be this good and this cheap is amazing. I plug into my Canon 6D and T2i and it performs much better than the built in microphones. It also performs better than some other microphones I have that cost a lot more money. If you want better sound than this expect to pay a LOT more money. This is the best cheap microphone I have ever used.

I haven't had any complaints about the audio quality in most scenarios. The windscreen in kind of junk, so if my subject is outside then I get too much wind noise and I'll only use the audio if I need it. The mic runs off a watch battery, and it always makes me a little nervous about it dying and cutting out my sound halfway through an interview. It died once before so I always keep a backup, but if it happens in the middle of a shot I have no way of knowing. Otherwise, satisfied for the price.

The OLM-10 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone by Pearstone is a great little microphone and has fantastic sound for the price. In fact, I use this for allot of different professional interviews with my Canon Mark III for video. A definate must have in your bag to get you by in a pinch, or for regular use! The only drawback is that isn't cordless, but for the price it is worth it!

Very good microphone for the price. Nice feature: sends separate signals to both channels (pseudo-stereo), its useful for editing audio. Light, compact, convenient, no interference like with radio mikes, long cord. Best to use with DSLR cameras. Of course, fragile... Just need to be careful as with any other electronics... Put it in a small rigid box. Keep an extra battery on hand.

The microphone works well. I found it to have some hissing when the audio sensitivity settings were set very high, although they don't need to be set that high to pick up good clear audio. I tested it with my Nikon D5300.

I'm not an audiophile, but I wanted some better voice recording than I was getting with just the camcorder, a Canon Vixia HF R500. This mic works nicely. I can record in the workshop without the usual echo-y sound, and I can record at my desk without picking up fan noise from the computers. For people like me who just want good 'nuff sound quality, this works great.

Used this product for basic one-on-one interviews; I am a very inexperienced filmmaker but this product is simple to use. Just plug and go! Sound quality is strong and clear. Even comes with batteries, which is very helpful. This is not a wireless mic, which is slightly inconvenient but all the same the wire is so long that it can be hidden.

I bought 2 of these to use with my GoPro camera so that I could do some on-the-go interviews with it. For the price, they work great, sound is a bit muffled when mixed in stereo in the camera playback, but totally usable for my needs. Cannot say how they would do in a quiet room, but am impressed so far!

I use this with my Zoom H4N and Canon 70D. The sound quality is, in my opinion, excellent for what I will be using it for - corporate video and interviews.

I bought this to use with iPad and iPod Touch video, along with a small adapter. It's incredible! Works perfectly! I can hardly wait to hook it up to a few other cameras. The sound is loud and clear, with very little noise. I also could not find another mic like this with both quality AND a long cable at anywhere near this price range.

Good for a direct hook-up to a camcorder for audio capture of interviews, etc., but the cord is too long for our uses. I find it easier to have a lav mic with a short 6 cord, then use a 10' extension. It makes the cable issue more manageable than having a full 20' cord that tends to get in the way.

It got the job done, and I only needed them for a one-time use. But, for pro audio setups, I don't really recommend this mic. There is considerable line noise associated with this mic. That said, it may simply be the one I purchased is flawed, but that's my experience.

It's great for what it is. The sound quality is good, the cord is long enough for controlled interviews. The downside is that the cord is a pain to untangle and keep up with. But I knew the cord meant limitations going into the purchase, so as long as you do too, you'll be happy with this product. I haven't had any issues with it yet.

This is the same lavaliere mic sold by @for years. We've used these mics for 9 years and have had excellent results for such a low priced item. The audio quality is better than other mics that cost considerably more.At this price it's a no brainer.

My husband has a Podcast in which he does commentary on various subjects, one of which is our travels to numerous Antique Shops around our area and other favorite locations he and I enjoy and call our 'simple pleasures of life'. We use the microphones to record our conversations as we describe all the things that we love and enjoy.

good bang for the buck. i expected it to be noisy or possibly garbage at this price, but it records decent voice. it has an incredibly long cable very convenient for placing cam far away. feels solid.
