Has a nice warm sound to it. I like it waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than the MXL 990 or MXL 770. I use it mostly for indie music. Got it for $65 cant beat that.

I use this for a personal home studio and it suits my needs very well. Good response without added coloration. Very sensitive pickup. Great value!

This is my first large-diaphragm condenser. It is noticeably better than my usual go-to SM87 clones -- more air, more detail, more level. It picks up everything in the room so you have to be careful about extraneous noises. But it also gets a nice natural sound from my acoustic guitar. Very satisfied.

Very good budget mic. I have own a u87 and many blue mics. This is a great value for the price. I did recieve mine with a dent on the back grill but it doesn't seem to affect the sound so I think I may just keep it anyway.

When I started to do some research on a mic with great reviews and this is the best mic. For anyone on a budget and looking to saving money and still getting quality sound

I will be using this mostly for voice/vocals. Did not fit my shock mount from my Samson USB mic, but does come with a small mic stand mount that did the job. Has absolutely great response!

I use it for vocals and acoustic recording. Sound is clear, soft and accurate without distorsion. I know there is a lot of higher quality mics but for the price, I think it's one of the bests.

Preferred over a half-dozen other quality mics (shure/senn/akg etc) for my vocals. And It's cheaper than all of them!

I spent about a day looking at thousands of mics and reviews and was most impressed by this one. If you want a warm-sounding, responsive mic but can't shell out a couple grand for a Neumann, then check out this baby. Super happy with this purchase and B&H got it out to me fast in spite of covid. And it's sooooo pretty!

I have used this on male vocals and distorted guitars and found this to be a great asset to my mic collection. In tandem with my Cascade Fathead it provided the rich and vibrant tone I was looking for on guitars, and for the price you can't beat it.

I use this mic for vocals It has a tranparent but solid sound not too airy or crisp. However, it is boosted alittle on the high end, which can make the sound a little more harsh (crisp) insted of warm, as they said in the Ad.But you can fix that with EQ. For the price it is a great mic.

I think this is a pretty good mic for the price, with a distinctive and smooth sound. They also mod these mics and makes them sound so much better. It's definitely one of the MXL gems out there and again for an unbelievable low price.

Don't let the price of this fool you. Great mic for me on vocals. Had one some years ago...but for some dumb reason sold it. I now have several much more expensive mics....and more experience. Love it!

For the price the quality can't be beat. I did a lot of research before buying this type of mic & settled upon it seeing a well known professional highly recommending it. Looks pretty too!

I am using this mic for vocals and handheld percussion. It is fantastic. But be careful not to overdrive it, as it is very sensitive.

The first one shipped did not work. However, the folks at B and H were superb in quickly getting me a replacement. I work in a school district so my large diaphragm mics get used for everything under the sun and so far this mic has been a great addition.

This mic not only sounds nice and crisp, but it looks stunning. It looks a lot more expensive than it is. And because of its nice sound and looks, it's fun to use every day. Highly recommended if you're looking for an affordable mic for vocals.
