The table is quite interesting, is compact, lightweight, full-featured. However, I have trouble understanding how the effects work and how to connect with your computer. The instruction manual is not the best, which forced me to look in the youtube demo videos. Even so I do not understand how to apply the effects. To get the drives installation I have also found difficulty in the site. To be honest I still can not install anything and connect the mixer to the computer. I'm waiting for help from friends. I believe it is a great mixer but for those who do not know, there is a lack of information to operate the device. ... More

I've been using this solid for a week and am very happy. I was originally attracted to this unit because of the internal, universal power and the USB. I haven't used either yet, it it's replacing all of my Mackie 1202 mixers and my other XENYX mixers. It's light and the FX are better than the other XENYX - you actually get parameters rather than just 99 random FX. I use the onboard compression with acoustic guitar pickups - works great. I was hoping the USB would replace my audio interface - since the input is pulled from the main, I'll have to do some weird routing of the ALT channels to get that to work. Behringer - only one feature is missing - need to pull the USB input from the effects, insert or ALT-3/4 - anything but the main! ... More

The one knob compression is what sold me on this mixer. Sure there are several compact mixers with one knob compression, but Behringer does it for only $. The lowest I have ever seen this mixer. The compression works best at 3/4 turned on. At this point, a significant improvement of vocals can be heard. The onboard effects are a must have. They are editable, too. The 2 track USB buttons can be confusing at first, but once you figure it out, it all makes sense. I use this mixer as a small band mix or DJ-ing on the side. If this had a sub filter built in it would be the best thing since sliced bread. As of now to use any subs you have to have a crossover. But if I'm going to use subs I will get my bigger Behringer mixer with SUB out. Problem solved. ... More

Great piece of gear for the price, works really well along with an Audiobox to plugin a phantom powered mic, add compression and effects without rack-mount gear. Pro sound for a fraction of the price for general use, making YouTube video and live-streaming with great sound quality. Adding rackmount gear is simple, and there is also AUX input for your phone or whatever to keep things simple while streaming. The drivers for this are bad though, get an external Audio interface. I tried the Audiobox and Focusrite - both work great with this.

I use the XENYX X1204USB as a mixer to input for my Canon XA10 video camera. As the record mix is different than the house mix, I use output from selected channel inserts on a Eurodesk MX 3282A as inputs to this board. This board has all the functions of the larger Eurodesk and more. I had been using a small board that had all rotary controls and no mute buttons. I especially vaule the slide controls on this board along with the mutes. The mutes allow me to do a sound check prior to the event and then when the event starts I can select the selected channels at the correct levels without having to turn a rotary switch and then remember what the correct setting is! ... For small price of this mixer, you receive a lot of value. You can do professional mixing without paying professional prices. For example, on this mixer, you can adjust pre fader levels in advance, assuring that your sound is at the optimal signal before you ever start messing with volume and other settings. Another example would be the dual auxillary sends, which can also be modulated as pre or post fader. This is pro for pennies!

We bought this for the main studio for our school web radio station. Our old mixer needed to be replaced and this was the ideal solution. Having both traditional analog output and usb output made this mixer perfect for our two-computer setup. The usb connector runs to the computer where we record our talk shows while the other computer streams our recorded music / DJs. The sound quality is excellent and the controls easy to use. I've tested the X22222USB and i knew what i was buying going into this. Phenomenal mixer. You wont be disappointed. Wish it had a 3.5mm output for headphones but generally mixers dont use this type of input so i get it. I have to admit the manual that came with it is junk which is why it got 4 stars like everyone else mentioned. But if you know what you're doing then you wont need it anyways. Small and compact, the size of a piece of paper.

This is a great mixer for the price. I use it with my mobile DJ rig and for recording. I can't be more pleased with this product.

The Xenyx X1204USB was a snap to set up and begin recording on my computer. Controls are laid out well and work smoothly. I am using this to record narrations that I need to do in a hurry with no fuss. I will also be using this for a sound board when I'm playing small venues. This board is the ticket. The multi-track software was only OK but the VSTs that came with it are good. Audacity was also included and it is a good piece of audio recording and editing software. BH had the best price by far, the shipping was fast, the item was packed well and shipping was free! ... More

I've owned the 1204FX (similar but with external USB) for about a year and used it extensively for recording in my home studio, plus remastering from my old tapes. Mic preamps are clear and clean, and overall sound is well balanced. Effects work OK, but the reverb can have a metallic sound. The external USB supplied with the 1204FX killed the sound and I rapidly upgraded to a Fast Track Pro with 100% improvement in sound. OK, it's not studio quality gear, but for the price this can't be beaten.

I use this mixer to record directly onto my computer. I love the built in USB interface, which eliminates the need for any other interface equipment. Just plug the USB into the computer, connect your equipment and monitors to the mixer, and your good to go. With effects and USB interface, this mixer is a great value.

This is a good mixer and I like the sound it puts out. The only issue for me is that the VU meters barely respond even with the gain up to 75% and almost shouting into the mic. I have a Floureon XLR using the phantom power. Even though the VU meters do not register, I still get good sound with the gain less than half. It is just not as convenient to monitor the software VU meters as it would be to monitor the x1204 VU meters.

I will occassionally be using this mixer for Stage performance, but more often use it at home when my musician friends come over to Jam. I have used it for Karaoke, Studio, and Band practice. It seems to have sturdy construction. The FX only has 3 settings that utilize a 2-FX combo, otherwise the FX are only 1 at a time - across all channels. Overall, a very decent product.

I bought this item and decided to return it as soon as I started using it. The preamps were extremely noisy, I couldn't believe it. Also, the USB connection only sends out of the main mix and there's no way to seperate the channels onto a DAW for further mixing. I was also unimpressed with the reverb sounds that came on it. It would be fine for recording a live performance or running sound to a small PA but not for doing any studio work.

I use this product primarily for podcasting and home performances. The board produces decent sound and even has several FX settings which are say more mediocre level that professional. However, it covers all my needs. Thanks Behringer and B&H for such cheap but neat product. The only thing I don't like is the user manual...

I bought this mixer to replace my Peavey 6USB Mixer...seems more solid and well built then the Peavey. I had read a few reviews about this mixer having gain issues and I'd have to say that those reviews are spot on. Have to set the gain to almost 3 o'clock to use with a Shure SM58. I know that it needs a lot of gain but 3 o'clock seems a bit much. Overall though not too bad and at this current price you can't beat it.

Mic Pre-amps are a bit on the quiet side, FX are negligable, build quality is good and the box feels extremely solid. Overall, for a budget board, it does what it's supposed to, just don't expect miracles.

This audio mixer works great with my powered monitor speakers in my small studio or in a live performance. I use to haul around a large system for just me singing and playing my guitar. I also use audio that I have pre-recorded and now my system is a lot lighter with more options and flexibility. I haven't used the USB function yet but will in the near future.

I use this to record podcasts with mulitple mics and additionally as a USB audio interface for an electric guitar. Very easy to use right out of the box, and although the pre-amps are a bit quiet, it's easy to make up for it in the mix. Audio records clean and with very little noise once settings are configured. Very good value - recommended.
